I'll tell you I have no clue how my microwave works. It could be a a small nuclear explosion for all I know. The microwave burns meat inside it in minutes.

They are obviously the next target weather they are building a weapon or not. I'd love to know what Iran has done to the US. Yes if Israel was near me with Nukes I'd probably want them too. |

Another is that they just don't like us and we can't be sure they won't sell a nuke a terrorist group that will then light it off in a US city. |

In addition IRAN has not "cooperated fully" with the IAEA. They have cooperated to the extent that they chose to...as reported by the IAEA. |

America cares more about foreign policy than its own citizens. You think some guy in Ashgabat gives a fuck about me? Nope. |

The real power serving Israel is the American Christians. They are the biggest contributors...the biggest voting block...and the biggest cheering section for the existence of...and survival of Israel. |

I also realize we have overthrown their government in the past. I said we need to help get the leadership of that country replaced. Iran has the highest concentration of citizens under the age of 30 of any country in the world. Many of those people are more forward thinking and want the current regime replaced with a more moderate one. We need to support those people. |
Ok we will now start a "yes" "no" but on bottom line, USA have nukes ;)

It is perfectly understandable why the Iranian regime would like to have nuclear weapons given their strategic situation. it is also perfectly understandable why other countries (US, Israel, Saudi Arabia) do not want them to get nuclear weapons and will try to stop them.

to think that the world needs more nuclear weapons is whacky and shows a complete lack of understanding of what's right and wrong.

From a practical and humanitarian standpoint what the fuck did people expect after WW2? They needed to form their own state. Although I do not agree with fanatical zionism or any other religious "isms" for that matter. |
The full quote translated directly to English: "The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time".
Word by word translation: Imam (Khomeini) ghoft (said) een (this) rezhim-e (regime) ishghalgar-e (occupying) qods (Jerusalem) bayad (must) az safheh-ye ruzgar (from page of time) mahv shavad (vanish from).. Arash Norouzi further adds that the The Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) translation is the source of the confusion: One may wonder: where did this false interpretation originate? Who is responsible for the translation that has sparked such worldwide controversy? The answer is surprising. The inflammatory 'wiped off the map' quote was first disseminated not by Iran's enemies, but by Iran itself. The Islamic Republic News Agency, Iran's official propaganda arm, used this phrasing in the English version of some of their news releases covering the World Without Zionism conference. International media including the BBC, Al Jazeera, Time magazine and countless others picked up the IRNA quote and made headlines out of it without verifying its accuracy, and rarely referring to the source. Iran's Foreign Minister soon attempted to clarify the statement, but the quote had a life of its own. Though the IRNA wording was inaccurate and misleading, the media assumed it was true, and besides, it made great copy. |
That is interesting dyna mo, do you have a link for that?
|
i wonder how much longer we'll go (this planet) before another nuke is detonated on a city. the odds sure don't look good.
