Then she told me that we were moving too fast, and she wanted to slow down.
So, we slow down... a few days later, she's telling me she wants to marry me again.

I've slowed down like 5 times over the past few months, only to have her speed things back up.

Seriously, Voodoo, take it from a female... if she's that wishy-washy about the marriage thing, one of two things is happening; either there's another guy involved or it was a test to see whether or not she could control you. I know it sucks, and I'm sorry you have to deal with this crap right around the holidays, but my advice would be to sit back and take a long, hard look at the entire situation before deciding how you really feel. Bet you'll find a pattern of similar behavior throughout the whole thing, in which case you'll discover you're far better off.

Either way, hang in there... it WILL get better! :)

I just spoke to her for a little while. We have semi-smoothed things over. I told her I'd call her when she got off of work... she was a little pre-occupied with working and wasn't paying much attention... she called me back to appologize for being pre-occupied, and that she looks forward to hearing from me this evening.

Hopefully, this works out well. (Keeping fingers crossed)

I agree. It's just frustrating that she asked me to marry her, but, then wants to back out. I suppose she wants to see how dedicated I am to her.

Chicks are messed up... they play these games, and then expect the guy to just sit there and take it. I suppose after a while, they just get tired of the games, and start getting real.

I guess a chick who is 21 and still in college doesn't really know how to be real yet.
