I think you're confusing them with AVN, ADG. I've never once advertised with XBiz and they've always given me and my company an equal share of press. When I was directing in 2005-07 they named me one of the top 10 people to look out for in porn for 2008. I've never put any money in their pockets and XBIZ tries to keep it fair and legit. :warning

Although I am not familiar with your specific work, I applaud your apparent skills and success, however if you are trying to tell me that Extreme Associates, Diabolic, and Anabolic, didn't advertise in XBIZ for your projects, then I have to call bullshit.

Perhaps your post defending the sacred integrity of XBIZ may increase your odds of being more than a "Top 10 Director" for XBIZ (translation: nominee, not winner), but most people in the real marketing world know that advertising dollars with trade journals that hand out awards, has a correlation to people that get nominated and win awards (it's not 100%, since that would be too obvious), but nonetheless, that's pretty much the way things go.

I wish you continued success whether you win awards or not, but I felt that since you are young, I should disabuse of the notion that everything is based upon meritocracy.

PIMPROLL easily Affiliate Programme of the year. Not being biased, but no one comes close to matching what we've launched this year, and with 2010 looking even stronger, I say bring on the good times.

Surprised at the mobile company of the year tho, we don't even get a nomination in there. Again, we're at the front alongside Topbucks for mobile and what we've done with it. As long as our affiliates are happy with our Mobile Product tho, thats all that matters to us.
