Palin's Future
who can even name most of the vice presidential candidates on losing tickets? most disappear into obscurity - hell i even forgot Dan Quayle was the actual Vice President for 4 years.
Palin won't disappear - my guess is that she leaves politics and does an Oprah - takes the huge money and does a TV talk show. |
a fox news show
|
she's a one hit wonder...
she will either launch a solo girl site or end up a truck stop hooker... :2 cents: |
I think she will write a book and do the talk show circuit then go back to Alaska and serve out her term and probably get re-elected.

|
she'll start a tube site duh
|
someone told me she is worth about 1 billion...if thats true..im sure she doesnt give a flying fuck what she does....as it will be what she wants
|
Yea my bet would be some dumb fox news show, then again I think they even know she's too dumb to do that. So would likely be a right winger's Religious Oprea show.

I saw a program where they her income was discussed in an interview (or her taxes or something like that) and she is not a high earner either. |

She might fit right in there with Shawn Hannity and Ann Coulter.. Two examples of needing no intelligence to be on Fox.. |

Ya how pathetic to be a Governor of a state in the United States of America. She only made it to the highest position in Alaska. Now if she was like some sort of a community planner that would be a different story entirely.

mccain looked like shit the other day and palin looks just as worn-out... your straight talk express is headed right off the bridge to nowhere... its funny ryan, you are really more of an independent than a staunch republican you just dont realize it yet.. come on over to the land of sensibility, i'll save you a seat... |

Hell, one of John Stewarts most popular web clips right now, even played on cnn, is that of some other guy attacking Biden of being mayor of the 151st biggest city or something, how that city is just not that big..... and then a little while later praising Palin for being mayor of a city with just 9000 people (because it's the biggest in Alaska). If this were Obama/Biden, I know you'd be using it as a way to question them... to attack them. And that there'd be someone else following along with a statement very much like you just made. The US just saddens me how divided it's become, that BOTH sides can use the same attacks and defences without even realizing just how hypocritical BOTH sides have become. |

if obama was republican and mccain was democrat, i would still be voting for obama.. i have only voted once before and it was when i voted for ross perot... |
Win or lose, she will run for president one day..

Can felons vote? You seem like you might know about this better than I. How did your fellow inmates at Morgan feel about the political situation? |

Lets look at it purely on a numbers stance. Total number of registered voters in Alaska (approx.) 480,000 people. About 25% Republicans. 15% non party. 37% undeclared. 15% Democrats, Leaving out the separatists, libertarian etc. That rarely cross lines. Alaska has an average of about 51% registered voter turn out. 240,000 voters - 60,000 which vote party lines. Split the undeclared (odds are majority) add 88,000 more. 148,000 now. Already over 50% of the vote. Of course fuck all of that and the individual numbers. She had to convince the majority of roughly 240k that she was the proper choice. That is not much of an achievement since most would never run for office anyways. It is about the same as winning a very small city as mayor, just assuming that city had a population that is paid by the state for the oil. |
