The idea of 'minor' is a concept. It is a concept which needs to be reviewed, as people in the modern world start becoming sexually active at a younger age with each generation.

The western world and U.S.A. in particular is terrified of their own sexual interests. Anything to do with sex is taboo and causes all manner of people to go insane and start quoting religious texts and so on. To me a pedo is someone who wants and is attracted to kids who have yet to hit puberty and much younger. Typically a pedo is moving on from the 12 year old to the younger 4 year old where he started at with the first kid.

My opinion is...the legal age of consent in the States varies between 16 to 18 with a minority of States in the 18 camp

Actually no on that homosexuality law in the US, most have been overturned unless your in the military of course. So they either have set ages, its been overturned, or it has been repealed.
