So i finally got my 30k mgp ...(read)
 

So , i saw that thread on gfy ....
A guy can make me a 30k site for 1000 $
so i decided to give it a shot , i went to webair and got a 5 mbit server (the builder told me it was enough)
he made me a site ( http://www.18-teenies.com ) all with freehosted galleries sorted on over about 18 sponsors .
I checked my stats and i had 1 bangbros sale :) thats it .
if that isnt enough , i checked my bw usage and i saw it was allready 11.6 mbit burning (webair charges 70$ per mbit overusage ) ...
so total of all this : 1000$ for the builder 100$ for smart thumbs ,100$ server setup ,200 first month server rental , 200$ second month server rental and an extra 420$ for the overused bw ...... makes a total of 2020$ for a 30k site that brought me 35$ !!! Aint that great ?
Someone wants to buy a 30k site ? :D

you are probably getting 30K of people that dont want to be at your site...

Too many pictures.

220 pictures X 20k (average each) = 4.4MB traffic just to load the main page.
30,000 surfers X 4.4MB each page load = 132GB a day?
132GB a day x 30 days = 3,960GB per month.

Is this wrong?

You're giving surfers far too much to get off on.

Lose the one million images on a page approach. Check out somewhere like free6 or even shemp's link lists.

- get a real logo, so people can remember your site
- get some real galleries at the top of your page, fhg's are good for fillers and work best at the bottom of the page.
- cut down on the size of the thumbs, its way overkill now.

right now your site looks like one of those instant things that gets made with a couple of mouse clicks...spend some time on it, personalize it... add categories, but try to make it a little different than the 10,000 sites that look just like it..

That sucks, but really I guess that is what happens when you think you can just walk into money that easy. Don't want to be harsh as I am sure you learnt your lesson, but unfortunately it's never really that easy.

thats something i tried out for 100 times ... with text mgp's , I dont understand how it comes there are thousands of thumbsites like mine out there that actually are making money of them ... why else would they be online ? ...
I am going to cancel the whole thing , it costed me more then enough allready ... trail and error .... error it is :)

man i'll add another $20 to that bet .... have you noticed that most of the sites in your trade list just happen to look just like yours hmmm ive had traffic from sites like these before and it cheats the shit outta your site they look like they are there and clicking madly but when they get to another site on your trade list all of a sudden not one of them clicks anything ..

if it were mine i'd change the trade script to something that has cheat warnings that work in it like smarttraffictrader at least that way you can see which sites really are cheating and botting the fuck outta your site cos right now you are paying for around 80% bots i can almost guarantee it if you dont believe me hit me up on icq and i have a site you can test the traffic on :)

free clue... you are paying for phoney traffic off DNS spoof, so i would close it immediately and learn all my clues.

his trade script already has hitbot detection, but maybe it's only in the paid version

of course it could be virus traffic, could be many things.. but if i could build a 30k site that had any value whatsoever, why would i be selling it for 1k lol
