~10, all positive, he asked me to leave him positive feedback before he sends anything.. and I did :Oh crap

Between that and Western Union, it should have tipped you off that something was fishy. Giving feedback BEFORE YOU GET SOMETHING defeats the entire purpose of feedback.

You will not get your money back .Even Paypal is not that secure when issues happens. Always use your credit card ...
As for the " feedback " system, it is worth nothing ... Buyers now wait to see what feedback you leave to leave the same ...

So it you paid promptly, in full, and communicated that the product is defective, you will get a negative if you leave a negative to the seller first.

always make sure you have the correct phone # and adress, verify this. then if you get scammed you can just fly over and collect the money + the extra costs involved for you. this way it's impossible to get scammed.

You can try ... but they make you go thru so many loops that you end up with having to do your own chargeback.

When you do that, then and only then does Paypal recharge the sellers account.

car rims, the deal looked good indeed, $2500 for 20' rims and tires, but then he asked to send him another $600, so I did, after that he asked for another $1400 to cover shipping charges, wtf?? Also refused to give me a refund.. I have a phone # and address, the seller is in US. Should I sue his ass? for $3000, is it worth it?

Damn stupid yes, but hell use small claims and get it back. If your in CA you can do 5,000 if its your first case this year otherwise its 2500 and it only costs 70 or so to file. Then for shits and giggles I would submit it to all of the TV court shows to see if any will pick it up.
