Its the only place you can find a lot of stuff around here so you really have no choice. Not to mention when you can find things elsewhere they are often 5-10 dollars more expensive. Fuck a boycott if other businesses are too stupid to compete.

I went to one once 3 years ago and the products inside were so incredibly shitty. I have no idea why it's so great and popular.

I go to target all the time. Im Always buying stuff at target.

Not really. I think I was looking for an ourdoor patio table and the ones at walmart were gross. I mean it was like plastic shit.
The ones at target at least had a little style and some metal ornimation. Its still cheap shit but at least you wont be embarassed having your friends sit in a plastic chair.

I just go to target for soap and toothpaste mostly.

I remember reading in the paper that tescos is going to be a little bit different in america, like small convienence stores rather than big hyper markets. Is it a small store they are building?
They are hugely expanding into china aswell. Tescos seem to be really on the ball at the moment. I wonder if they will be able to break america

I hate to admit that I do shop at Walmart, I do so because of the cheap prices,and I buy anything and everything there from toothpaste to clothes.

I hate that they have become the bullies that they are now, and that they are destroying mom and pop shops along with customer service, but in the cities I've lived in, there haven't been too many mom and pop shops around in a long damn time anyway.

Taking care of 3 other people, including raising two girls, Walmart has served a very valuable purpose, and will continue to do so.

I know exactly what your talking about because i'm in exactly the same situation. Fuck the elitists who think not shopping at Walmart makes them better or something - funny thing is, I'm sure they still shop there, but are just trying to be internet tough guys.

I take all that BS with a grain of salt. Who cares if you want to shop there or not? I don't care one way or another.

One reason I don't shop at Walmart because of the devastating effect they have on small towns.

They're larger than that, but smaller than a proper grocery store. The size of a typical American pharmacy.

I think they're called Fresh and Easy or something. There is one about a mile away and another about 4 miles away. The farther one is actually being retrofitted in a former Walgreen pharmacy.

They put all the other small businesses in the neighborhood out of business because they don't stand a chance in competing with the prices.

I haven't been to one in about 10 years... but I'm also cheating, because there isn't really one on my side of town, and a Target's closet in any direction.

lol, wow, take a walk or something. I never said how it made me feel one way or the other, someone asked what makes them evil, so I answered.

I quit buying stuff at Walmart, when I realized that their groceries were more expensive than they were at another local grocery store. The electronics are over priced as well. The rest of their products are junky Chinese made stuff.

I went on vacation to Florida in 2006 and 2007 for three weeks each time and I was in Wal Mart all the time. They were a 5 min drive. It rocks! When I came home and done my shopping I was shocked! The price differences are insane and the store i shop at - Asda - is owned by Wal Mart!

Wal Mart is my favorite store. I can find just about everything I need in one store and at very low prices. I hardly ever shop anywhere else.

Don't have any choice. As a frequent visitor and homeowner in Indiana Walmart is pretty much the only department store around.

Sure, I do... the other customers always make me cringe... but I'm willing to put up with nasty fucks for an hour to get what I want.

Went into a Walmart store for the first and last time around ten years ago - and there is a Walmart store 3 mins away, but never been there yet. Not exactly on the best customer list :winkwink:

Tho never been in a Mcdonalds etc either for... around eight years, maybe longer.
