natas 08-13-2007 03:27 PM

I'm not yet but I want one of those beasts....and soon

been thinking about getting an apple for a while now, and the more people I speak to the more likely it is....

Clark Miller 08-13-2007 03:32 PM

1.7 ghz Pentium M

...doesn't have OS X yet, but it will. It does have an Apple sticker over the Dell logo.

Methodcash Rick 08-13-2007 03:35 PM

Made the switch about 8 months ago, and haven't looked back..

Started with a 17" Powerbook G4, then added a Mac G5 PPC, then added Mac Pro Quad... Best move you could have made.

That's what I bought a few months ago. Sold it on Ebay about 6 weeks later :( This old dog doesn't learn new tricks very well.

The best I've found was Yummy FTP http://www.yummysoftware.com/

I believe CuteFTP put out a Mac version in the past, but not sure if they still support it.

Do some situps, jog a little, get back in shape, then maybe you won't be so insecure and feel threatened by what computers people like or don't like.

riddler 08-13-2007 09:45 PM

You don't have to be a geek squad member to know that page is fucking hilarious and that mac users are as self righteous as born again christians and they think all pc users are going to hell (or are already there) :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

no thank you... all desktops here run on freespire/linspire and the only reason that this laptop still has xp is because i'm to lazy to transfer the important data to an external hd and install freespire on it.

this machine took the place of 4 desktop computers (PC) and it's still only used up 50% of what it's got... you'd have to be rendering some shrek like 3d graphics to slow this thing down
