same here man in fact I was waiting on someone to pull up an old thread of mine where I talk shit on them... I converted so far so good.. takes some getting used to for the proggys but all the proggys that I (need) and use are all on the mac.. all I have to learn is final cut which I have taken a few classes at ces and what not here in Vegas so I am picking it up quiet quick.. other than that the keyboard shortcuts are taking some getting used to and the filing system but so far so good... can't wait to upgrade this bad boy to 4 gig ram


correct me if Im wrong but in a mac isint a 2.4 like a 5ghz for pc and 2 gig would be like 4 gig ram on pc?

Comes with Safari which kicks IE's ass, and also Firefox works just fine on it.

I also dig copy paste, text expander and photosite time saviour.

Great tip for new mac owners.

I love my mac.

Just changed my laptop to a mac book, home computer to a macmini and office computer to a imac.

I highly suggest the move unless you are a big video game player.

I acutally use Coda. I think someone might have already linked it above.

The last Mac I used was an iMac G3 with Mac OS 8 or 9 back in 2001. Not impressed. The computer lab was fitted entirely with iMacs... :throwup

But lately I've heard a lot of great things about Macs. I've thought about trying it out, maybe one day I'll check out the Mac mini or one of those sexy new iMacs. :winkwink:

Everything changed with OS X. OS 8 was ok, 9 was pretty shitty. But OS X is nothing like either, completely different. And when Leopard comes out in the next month or so, it's going to be fucking amazing.
