We have 4 cats and they're like our kids, I can empathize with how you feel. :(

jact 04-25-2007 11:20 AM

Sorry to hear about your loss. When my cat was struck by a car I was distraught for months. Some cats are just there (We have two of those) but others really bond with you, it's really hard when you lose one of those.

NinjaSteve 04-25-2007 11:21 AM

That's a cute cat! I'm sure he's hanging out with my cat right now in kitty heaven.

shoeaholicanon 04-25-2007 11:22 AM

ContentSHOOTER 04-25-2007 11:27 AM

I have two, I know how attached you can get to a pet. Sorry to hear about your lose. They become a part of your family and when they go it's never easy.

VS_Eddie 04-25-2007 11:27 AM

Sorry to hear about your kitty. :(

BVF 04-25-2007 11:30 AM

that sucks..my cat is going on 6 and my kids have grown up with him...we would hate to lose him.

Even though he likes to piss in one of the bathtubs and likes to vomit his slimy hairballs on my sandals.

edgeprod 04-25-2007 11:30 AM

So sorry to hear this. :( Looks like a sweet heart.

Elli 04-25-2007 11:33 AM

I had to put down my Missy dog a couple weeks ago. I had no idea it would hurt so much, but it did. I still think of her every day.

Find someone with a good shoulder you can cry on, and do all the crying you need.

Helix 04-25-2007 11:36 AM

I don't understand this either.

It would suck if my dog died but I would not cry about it. I would bury him and move on.

That's not to say that there is anything wrong with crying about it.....That's just not what I would do.

I have a friend who recently had to get rid of her dog. She cried about it for a month before he was even gone. Now that he is gone she still cries but not as much.

Life has enough serious problems that people should focus on instead of morning the loss of pets for weeks, months, or even years.

T.A. I do feel for your loss.

Zuss 04-25-2007 11:40 AM

That sucks, you can grow quite attached to them. I hope notabook doesn't find this thread. Good luck.

aww, he's so cute. Sorry for your loss TurboAngel.

Bill8 04-25-2007 12:08 PM

My wife and I lost a cat she loved like crazy - it was very hard on her, and hard on me too.

We saved a couple of young cats that were about to be euthanized at the spca - they have grown up to become total lovemuffins.

It helps to have them, but my wife is still sad about her 17 year old best friend.

Sorry for your loss.

Angelo22 04-25-2007 12:15 PM

Aww... i'm really sorry to hear that

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 04-25-2007 12:15 PM

Yeah...and they spend hundreds of millions of dollars on them each year too.

Sorry to hear about your kitty Angel.

pornguy 04-25-2007 12:19 PM

We also had to out one to sleep.

Her stomach flipped, and after two surgeries, things were not getting better, and she was in pain.
