Grandpa Caleb Died
 

**a number of people here "know" my grandpa, so i will post this here**

Grandpa Caleb has become a butterfly.

On Thursday morning at 8:30am, while my mom and I held his hands, Grandpa took his last breaths with his earth-bound body.

It was a good death to complete a good life.

Grandpa believed that his consciousness would cease to exist, but his energy would become a part of the One/God/The Unbegun-Beginning. I have no doubt that the universe got a huge hug when Grandpa?s essence rejoined the cosmic force.

In celebration of his life, we are going to have a special HugNation / Online Service at a special time this FRIDAY. 6pm Pacific time, this Friday. (http://www.hugnation.com)


I am also working on a video tribute right now and hope to debut it Friday Night.

But I plan on sharing Grandpa-related things for a long, long time?

Thank you to everyone who shared a digital hug with us over the last few years. He told me frequently how important his online connections were to him during his final chapter.

Damn Hal - I just lost mine a few months ago. I know EXACTLY what you're going through.

I am not sure what to say other then you have my condolences Halcyon. As you know from my postings in your threads about grandpa Caleb I really enjoyed what he had to say.

I am so happy that you were not in Phoenix now for the show. Not sure you anticipated his passing or what, but I'm glad that you were with him, you two have a wonderful relationship. We all know where this man is going. I am sorry to see him go from our world, but the next one is waiting for him. I hope I am 50% as prepared to meet the next as he was for his. I'm bummed. We will all have to keep all that awesome video and Hug Nation footage around that you so intelligently captured to remember his legacy. I'm sure that you're stoked to know when you see it that you're gonna be just like him when you're a grandpa. I see a lot of you in him. God Bless Brother. We've never met, nor chatted on here, but I've read a number of your posts over time and you seem to be a very good person, and your talks of your grandfather and your love for him proves that to be so.. You're one that I would like to meet one day.

His good life here means a better one that he's been waiting a lifetime for..

A happy passing is as good as it gets, and I feel that you are celebrating it instead of feeling sorrow.. Knowing you will miss him alot, yet being happy for him is as it should be.

Congrats to the grandfather for finally making it.. and to you for being one that I'm sure he was, and is, very proud of..

Wow, this truly breaks my heart. What a positive force he had on so many people he didn't even know. With his happy soul I know he will rest well.

sad when anybody dies but it sounds like Caleb led a long and good life and that's the most any of us can hope for ourselves and those we love.

I appreciate the condolences.
But I should clarify that I am not distraught.
There is nothing tragic about the passing of a 94 year old. I held his hand as he left this plane. It was as beautiful a life and death as a soul could hope for.

I feel amazingly blessed.
