CCBill missing sales?

Anyone noticing any weird shit with ccbill the last few days? Myself and a few other webbies are seeing no new sales and only rebills coming in when we do ccbill sales on a regular basis...

Jakke PNG 03-08-2007 02:43 PM

No idea, but my stats don't look as good as I'd like. Very slow on the signup front. No unusual amount of denials either.. I thought I was alone with this. I'm seeing this both on my own program as well as the stuff I promote.

...but since I don't see denials, the only 2 reasons I can come up with are;
a) CCbill joinpages aren't loading, or spyware redirects all ccbill forms to nigerian websites.
b) People don't buy porn in March.

Lies - you wouldn't know a new sale if it hit you in the head :winkwink:

corvette 03-08-2007 02:44 PM

sperminator, if its an valid issue, i doubt its a global one, as our sales are looking normal right now, i just checked...all hell would break loose if our systems noticed a decrease...

anyhow, if i can help in any way, let me know

Same here, something's not right.

Mike Semen 03-08-2007 03:04 PM

I put up a thread about this a week or so ago. All quiet on the CCbill front...

lazycash 03-08-2007 03:07 PM

Did Mike69 do your programming?

New sales are fine for me

Quickdraw 03-08-2007 03:20 PM

Received sales email, but none show in stats

Chichio 03-08-2007 03:25 PM

Last thursday I felt like I saw sales dissappear. I went to check stats and saw something, went back later and it seemed to have dropped. It was pretty weird. I feel like CCBill runs a pretty tight ship so I decided to see if it was a trend or not. I haven't seen it since.

RawAlex 03-08-2007 03:27 PM

My feeling is that for whatever reason, the "scrub" and CCBill seems a little higher than it use to be, and as a result, sales seem lower. I have noticed that even programs that use CCBill as their processor (without using their stats systems) are showing lower sales than normal. NATS sponsors that use CCBill and a backup processor seem to be doing more sales these days for me on the backup processor.

Just a feeling, no actual proof offered or suggested.

Same here. I called them. After research they found the transaction but have not figure out why I was not credited for the sale.

"Dear Client,

We are currently having our programming team look into the reporting issue in regards to the transaction not being listed in the reports. We were able to locate the transaction, yet it does not reflect in the reports.

Regards,

James B.
Client Support Specialist"

dooglas 03-08-2007 04:41 PM

Yeah yesterday sales dropped and today isn't better. I'm getting emails that aren't showing as well.

Something is Definitely Happening

We talk to dozens of webmasters a day. I have a pretty good sense that something is actually occurring, for some customers.

add me to that list. new ccbill sales 2:13262 yesterday and 0:11530 so far today. rebills seem totally normal though.

I saw a very long slowdown in sales throughout february but sales picked up immediately on March 1st until yesterday. The change in ratios has been so abrupt it's as though someone is turning on and off a switch, I've been doing this for years and have never seen anything like this except on holidays - but that typically only lasts a day or two at most, more often like 12 hours or so.

nation-x on that 'other board' mentioned he saw a bunch of join pages not carrying affiliate codes yesterday and also that cookies were not being set. I didn't look into it myself so can't verify this. it would explain alot though...

wow.......

Hinc 03-08-2007 07:53 PM

Noticed the same - a rapid drop in new sales today, and more on the secondary...but it goes up and down like that alot, so usually it evens out over time.

corvette 03-08-2007 08:00 PM

we are checking this out right now, we have some programmers doing reports on affiliate sales and looking for discrepencies

amateurflix, if you can pass me that link, maybe over icq or email, id like to check that out, thanks

i hope this get resolved...

corvette 03-08-2007 08:45 PM

our guys looked at the issue, when you compare the last few days to the past month or so, it is down by a bit

my opinon is that its due to spring break, my brother and his friends are all going to rocky point tomorrow, matter of fact

Avery 03-08-2007 08:49 PM

Just take it easy.

spring break? yeah....right.... I'd be more apt to believe "Jesus has risen from the grave and claimed your sales in the name of GOD"

silent1 03-08-2007 11:09 PM

Worst ratios

My sales are awful for the last two days.

Spring break is preventing the stats from showing sales figures that are being sent in your email notifications?

no, that sounds like a reporting bug that, once we are informed about it, we should be working on it in order to fix it. if this is the case and you feel that its not being taken care of promptly, icq me the account # and ill get it checked out

i was referring to outside factors such as spring break influencing sales this week/time of year, the college demographic composes up a decent % of many sites sales volume

You know what? I sent a couple of emails to CCbill regarding that transaction earlier this week.
Now after looking closer to get you on ICQ, the transaction date says it was from September 2006. So it appears to be just a hiccup in the mail system somewhere.
This particular email was received on March 5th, 2007, but the 'Date order' in the mail says September 2006.

MrPinks 03-09-2007 10:38 AM

Same shit here too!

gotcha, thanks for mentioning that

Brad 03-09-2007 03:17 PM

I've been noticing that for the last few days too. what's up?

brroke35 03-09-2007 03:29 PM

do ccbill sales sometimes just seem to shut off?
i mean i saw someone say that their experience is that the sales just shut off for a few days occasionally and they have no idea why.
they also said their sales with other systems continue through that same time period..pointing at ccbill.
then when your sales slow way down...a lot of people start saying it is spring break or just that time of the year..when most people who say sales have stopped for the last couple of days...they watch daily data and the drop is unexpected and unexplained..so they sort of know what they are talking about..knowing their site better than others do.

Mark_E4A 03-09-2007 03:34 PM

I am actually seeing an increase in sales lately

IllTestYourGirls 03-09-2007 03:37 PM

yes, ccbill is saying i have ZERO clicks the last few days. I have personally clicked my own links multi times to see what the hell is going on. It still said ZERO clicks. :helpme it is happening at http://yoursoloteens.com

brroke35, ccbill sales do not just shut off. My suggestion has always been that if you think something strange is going on, test it with your own card to see if it works. i have done many tests myself and the transaction has always showed up. Now if you notice a problem, let us know right away.

Outside influences do affect sales and always have. If something controllable is decreasing sales, we certainly want to know about it

Illtestyourgirls, make sure that client support knows about this, I would call them right away. Not sure what the issue is there, but they will jump on it right away
