No

Yes.. and even a nickel. A penny is 50/50.... depending on if it's heads up. :2 cents:
|
yeah probly.
|
You need a "if nobodies looking" option.
|
Sure, never pass up free money, even if it is only a dime or even a nickle.
Pennies are not worth bending over to pick up, those I let my kids to grab :winkwink: |
Yes but more to do with OCD behavior than wanting 10 cents.

lmao? this thread reminds me of the time when I was in my youth. I got a bottle of superglue and superglued a quarter to the ground at a K-mart, leaving my foot over it and letting it dry. I then casually went in the store and came back out a few minutes later and just watched as person after person tried to pick up the coin, get frustrated, then leave.
I watched for about an hour then went home. I came back the next day with a friend and we watched some more (god damn it, we were bored as fuck ok?). For some reason it was one of the most entertaining things to watch. Finally after about two hours (we went and ate some lunch and came back) some asshole with some steel-toed boots kicked and kicked at the coin until it came undone and picked it up. I still hate that guy. :( That said, hell yes I would try to pick it up. The only thing I won?t pick up is a penny because pennies are forbidden in the Archiot religion. Anything brown is. |
yes... if i found and picked up a dime every day, i would have $36.50 of free money... now times that by the average life span of a male of today, i would have $2,372.50 of money i didn't have to work for, or borrow, or have to pay back...
|
Yes, I'll put it on my piggy bank. :)

I'm admiring some responses from a relatively simple question.

I've said yes but usually it's my 3yr old that picks coins up to put in her piggy bank. If she's not around then 90% of the time I would. I'm far to cheap to turn down free money no matter how little.

Gonna do this at the mall today :1orglaugh |
yes. probably. depends on where it was sitting though.
sometimes i throw them at assholes too. |

It would be interesting to know how many millions of dollars are laying on the ground in the form of coins..
|
sadly many forget the old days when no one had money
|
...yes...
|
Save your change and your dollars will grow..yes
Mr. Romance |
Probably not.....
I found a twenty pound note on the floor once and I picked that up, I also found a wallet with over 300 pounds in it and I actually phoned the owner and returned it. The tight bastard gave me 5 pounds as a reward. I was a kid, but still.... A fiver???? |
only if it was my cents dropped from a pocket
|
No.
I do not pick up my own dropped change if less that a quarter either. :disgust |
no.... a euro coin or 2 euro coin maybe yes, but 10 cents... im not bending over for 10 cents
|
no.........
|
no !!!!!!!!
|
I found a ten dollar bill at the Shell station on Broadway and University in Tempe a couple weeks ago. :)
|
i collect coins so i would pick it up!
i understand the value of money. plus, i would just throw it in my kids piggybank! |
keep in mind the penny will be 100 years old in 2009.
if they dump the penny, (high copper prices) the penny will be worth a lot more. lots of collectors will want to start and/or complete sets. |
Yes.
I have a 3 litre Jack Daniels bottle where I keep all my change. I goal is to fill it so I always keep my change and put it in there. Danish coins are from about 10 cents to $3 worth. |
sure would
