Some times I do the economical thing and dont pick up change. I give myself a hard time for at least an hour then asking myself if I am to good now to pick up money from the street.... :helpme |
No...I think it would have to be at least a quarter. Not because I'm rolling in money, but because coins are filthy.....and I think a quarter is high enough in value to break that barrier. But I wouldn't pick up 2 dimes and a nickel, if they were all together.
:2 cents: |
Great question...even better answers.
And, yes, pick it up! |
I have better things to do on street (look at nice girls)

Money are money, small coin here and there makes a note :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

For me it's usually no. It's not necessarily a snobby thing, more a comfort thing. I'm too tall and conspicuous!
|
Apsolutly no
|
Yes, I would and it would get put in the same place as most of my other change - one of those little charity boxes.
|
Probably one of the most pointless polls in recent GFY memory.
And that's saying a lot ... still, already 49 replies and counting. haha |
hell yeh!
i found a £2 coin superglued to the floor one day, tried to pick it up, realised it was glued, then saw it was outside an office with blacked out windows. must have been having so muhc fun all day! that night i came back down with a chisel and prised it out, got myself £2 and a big fuck you to the guys in the office! felt so good :D although if the police found me with a chisel doing shit with the pavement at 2am.. heh |

I have been known to throw several dollars of change in the trash.
It takes more time sorting it than it's worth. |

I know a guy that's in a wheelchair for the rest of his life because of that. Totally not worth it.
|
Sure, why not double the daily income.

I guess I'm lazy... but no

Say it takes you 5 seconds to pick up a dime. That's $1.20 a minute and $72 an hour. I'd say that's worth it.
|
Hell yes I would bend over to pick up a dime.
|
goddamn right I would
|
I won't go out of my way for it, but if it's within arm reach sure why not
|
hell yes a... penny definitly and all other coins are game!!! hey i gotta pay for promotion somehow HA!

Yes I would.
But only becouse its a rather rare find on the streets of Norway. Had it been the lowest value norwegian coin however, I probably wouldnt. |

Pennies make nickles, nickles make dimes, dimes make dollars ;)

This one time as I was approaching the entrance to a big department store I saw a coin in the parking lot. It didn't take long to realize it was glued to the pavement, so I went in the store, bought a screw driver along with the rest of the stuff I was there for, and on my way out I scraped that coin off the pavement and put it in me pocket.
I was raised to believe that found money is good luck.... ESPECIALLY a penny. Fuck you all you penny haters. :D |
I'm picking it up
|
Btw, later that same week I won $10 on a $2 scratch ticket.
(Which means the screwdriver was free) |
