Of course. People in Africa need help a lot more than she does. People in Africa have nothing. Literally. Of no fault of their own. If you were born in most parts of Africa you would be poor and starving too, and I'd rather help you than a middle class women who spent money on herself before protecting her children. I would consider you heartless for not caring about people just because they are born somewhere far away from you.

Am I suppose to help someone who has probably made millions in the porn industry? I think its in bad taste to immediately start asking for donations when your spouse died that same day. I know she is probably not in her right frame of mine and might be in shock, but still I will not be donating.

Not everyone qualifies for life insurance or it is extremely expensive if you have any health issues. Same goes for health insurance.

He was a fitness guru and 37 so I'm sure his life insurance would not have been that expensive. If you can afford fancy cars, motorcyles, boats, houses etc then you can afford life insurance and health insurance.

Uhhh...Yea..thats what he's saying. And I agree 100%. My father died when I was 2 and guess what? No one donated money to my Mom. She survived off of the social security that she received for my brother and I (the same Social Security that Asia Carrera will most likely recieve). She even stayed home and didn't work until I started school, two years later. It is horrible what happened to her and her childen, no ones denying that. But there are millions of people all over the world that could use this money more than Asia Carrera. :2 cents:

you're a perfect example of a person who I could donate to some small amount of money if that was really very needed, because I like you from GFY ( even though I dont know you )

but the whole idea of asking for donations is IMO kinda stupid

lets say person A and person B make the same amount of money
person A is smart, renponsible, carefully plans her spendings, arranges retirement, insurance etc
person B blows money on cars, jewerly, clothes and parties

when some accident happens, person A has her insurance, or some funds sitting in a special bank account for emergency

while person B spontaneusly asks for donations which help her overcome this situation and then most likely she comes back to her previous lifestyle

personally I have absolutely no sympathy for person B

The question is, how many GFYer's have profited from her work? I'm sure most of the people who did paid fair value, and are under no ethical obligation to help out if they don't want to.

We (my husband and I) feel a moral obligation to help out people in need when we're able. When we were in trouble, a lot of people helped us out without asking anything in return, without caring whether it was because of mistakes on our part or because of natural disasters. One of those people was Bill Severs (bjjb), who passed away recently. We were fortunate in being able to return the favor shortly before his death, but his generosity will be remembered for all our lives and passed on again and again.

We don't need anyone to tell us who we should help and who we shouldn't; all we want to know is whether it's a real need or not.

i think people can find better things to do with their money than donating to a porno woman.
