CCBill: What's up with this?

I know you have you're ups and downs but over the last 2 days i've seen this a lot:

"Unrecoverable Error"

Might explain 2 really slow days?

I know nothing's ever wrong on your end so it must be on my end, just thought you'd like to know just the same as a courtesy.

:winkwink:

Sebastian Sands 04-26-2006 11:39 PM

They are doing maintenance, I have that error too.. I had a couple of denials in a row with the reason being 999 whatever that is. SUCKS

mrvercetti 04-26-2006 11:39 PM

hey Bro,
dont wait on those things, contact them asap, u dont want anyone fooling arround with ur accounts...

Ian 04-26-2006 11:43 PM

Over the years i've called a few times. Always my problem, not theirs. Stopped calling because the song remains the same. This too shall pass. :error

Gman.357 04-26-2006 11:53 PM

All I can say is that yesterday in particular was a very strange day. Turned out to be the lowest signup producing day I've seen in about 3 or 4 years on CCbill. However, the thing that really makes it unusual is that the day previous to this was a near record-setting sales day! Go figure.

gooddomains 04-27-2006 01:02 AM

usual ups and downs

Edgey Boy 04-27-2006 01:28 AM

i got this wierd denial message along with the 999 message too.. "was declined due to Your account is currently being processed, please check the website you are joining to see if you have access. If not, please contact [email protected]."

phuner 04-27-2006 01:56 AM

CCBill stats doesnt work, i have 0 clicks/sales/everything in this whole month?!?! WTF

:ugone2far

xclusive 04-27-2006 01:58 AM

Scotty.T 04-27-2006 02:06 AM

Literally just happened for me. I was checking one days stats and OK, moved on to next days and it went tits up!!!

kamtcho 04-27-2006 02:15 AM

Jay_StandAhead 04-27-2006 02:19 AM

I'm seeing 6000 raws and 0 uniques or form hits for most programs, but some of them are ok

is this shit normal??

Sven-David 04-27-2006 02:30 AM

very uncool, is this a single event or did anyone had these kind of problems before?

I would say no. In the last 5 or so years that I've been using CCBill processing, I've never seen such a wild flux in reported sales as I have the past day or so (not to mention unusual system error messages).

Dear Webmaster

I was unable to recreate the error you received when I ran a transaction
report on your account. Please try running the report again.

ThankYou

They aren't even aware of this problem.

Damn I'm glad I'm not the only one that notices. It does not matter the error, or how many people see it, the story remains. "Everything looks good here, must be on your end". :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Jay_StandAhead 04-27-2006 02:45 AM

that's why I hate ccbills sponsors. Get yourself a real affiliate program for god sakes, nats is so cheap

phuner 04-27-2006 04:30 AM

I hate that unprofessional response from CCBill - "Everything looks good here, must be on your end".

FetishTom 04-27-2006 04:37 AM

Interesting as we had 22 sales Monday, 17 sales on Tuesday and 2 yesterday which is our lowest since like whenever!

...but I put this down to the fact that people the world over wake up some days and collectively decide not to buy porn!

with CCBill yes, I went 13 months sending tons of hits and NO sales until i started bitching on the boards then, lo and behold, the sales started to trickle in. That was three months ago and they are back to a 1:750 for me this month which is BS compared to others I use.

bellskids 04-27-2006 06:02 AM

why would you send big traffic for over a year if you didnt make a single sale?

Gottis 04-27-2006 06:09 AM

Because they aren't sending big traffic

Because to some people, 10 hits a day is big traffic.

marketsmart 04-27-2006 06:53 AM

i sale big traffic... 10 hits for $400...

Ian 04-27-2006 08:11 AM

Any news this morning? Hope today is a better day. :thumbsup

loco12 04-27-2006 08:52 AM

Sales have been up and down the last week and a half. Before that smooth sailing. The last couple of days have been very poor.

scardog 04-27-2006 08:54 AM

Yesterday slow. Today crawling. :(

SlamDesigns 04-27-2006 11:33 AM

I have had one sale with CCBill sponsors since February 24th. They tell me "it's not their fault". Seems pretty fucking funny that I would drop from 1:423 to 1:10,000+. Not saying they are scamming...but something is definitely wrong.

Just saw this, you guys may be referring to the maintenance we did last night, below is what was posted in our admin yesterday evening?as far as sales go, if you think that things are not working correctly, I suggest a test with your own credit card, if you notice anything weird regarding that, let us know. My icq # is in my profile, if you need to get hold of myself

-Mark

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR CCBILL SERVICE

On Wednesday, April 26, 2006 we will conduct a short, 30 minute maintenance on our CCBill systems, which could cause intermittent connectivity issues when you attempt to update or add account information to the CCBill System5 Admin. This maintenance window is scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m., Arizona Time.

PLEASE NOTE: This maintenance will ONLY affect your ability to view and update your Account information during the noted window of time, and transaction data will NOT be affected.

realed 04-27-2006 12:34 PM

it was certainly a lot longer than 30 minutes.. more like 8 hours or so

Terry

I had one of those days Tuesday for some reason but both processors slow. I put it down to Shit happens!

Yesterday was an above average midweek day for me.

So all these people are having the same problem at the same time and you guys have not noticed anything? your reps are still claiming everything is fine on your end? no comment on the Unrecoverable Errors people are getting? That is some good, honest customer service. :thumbsup

ps- I am aware I am using a fake name and no I don't work for another billing company

As the comment about the ?unrecoverable error? was made approximately around the time of our scheduled maintenance, it sounded like he received that error in our admin?we posted the message in order to inform our clients that the maintenance ?could cause intermittent connectivity issues when you attempt to update or add account information to the CCBill System5 Admin.?

We are running sales through as normal, declines are normal, if a consumer pulls their card out and signs up to your site, it will most likely go through, if when you test it, it doesn?t, icq me, I will look at it myself

Ian 04-27-2006 03:17 PM

Corvette, it's been another slow day, 3rd in a row. Are sales down for that period all over or is there a router down in the town next to my servers.

I'm not pissed just curious. :winkwink:
