It just cost me $3 more to fill my gas tank...

WTF? I just went to the gas station, and all of a sudden gas is back up to almost 3 bucks a gallon? And today on the news they're saying it's gonna climb higher for the summer months?

 :Oh crap

Cory W 04-11-2006 07:34 PM

SuckOnThis 04-11-2006 07:35 PM

sickkittens 04-11-2006 07:36 PM

I can't wait to spend a ton on gas when I take my Camaro out this summer.

JasonB 04-11-2006 07:40 PM

$3? I can only wish. It hasn't been $3/gal here for years

madawgz 04-11-2006 07:42 PM

I know what the story is behind all this, trust me...I didn't want to start a political-type rant/thread is all...

Elli 04-11-2006 09:18 PM

holy crap the US has some of THE lowest fuel prices on the planet, stop complaining!

A gallon here was $3.33US two months ago, and it just went up 20 cents or so.

ZEK 04-11-2006 10:25 PM

6.5 USD per US Gallon over here :Oh crap

Peaches 04-11-2006 10:27 PM

$2.79 for regular here. It's usually lower in Atlanta though, sometimes as much as $.20 a gallon. Most of my driving is highway but the rest is up and down mountains. I average 18+mpg which isn't bad for a 7 seater SUV.

Azlord 04-11-2006 10:29 PM

Anyone have a Texas price? I wonder if it's a lot cheaper there.

$2.75ish in San Antonio. I'm glad I decided to go with a Honda Civic even with all these high prices I still spend less than $50/mo on gas.

Pinklinkz 04-11-2006 11:17 PM

screw you all
we have it in UK Pounds at hahaha163;1.05 per litre
thats like hahaha163;4.20 or $7.50
and we just been told its going to rise again in the next few days

my tank takes 55 litres so its about hahaha163;60 to fill up ($105)
for aproximately 400 miles, and i only have a small family car

KRL 04-12-2006 01:11 AM

tyler. 04-12-2006 03:20 AM

gas is getting more expensive here , which really sucks

Zyber 04-12-2006 07:22 AM

One of the biggest global problems is that American consumers are used to having endless supplies of cheap gas to feed their big cars with ineffective engines.

Blame the American car industry for producing fuel-wise ineffective cars.
Blame the Americans for not demanding cars that runs more miles per gallon.

DutchTeenCash 04-12-2006 07:24 AM

$12 a gal here in Holland so quit whining

ajrocks 04-12-2006 07:26 AM

If you don't like the price of gas stop driving. Just thank god you don't live in Canada where its 3 times the price. Whats 3 bucks anyway?

Tom_PM 04-12-2006 07:30 AM

My 1996 car still gets more mileage per gallon than most new cars, including hybrids. So yeah, blame the car manufacturers for not giving a damn.

And yeah, gas prices are up now because the summer travel season is quickly upon us. Go figure. Gouging is completely legal if the entire industry does it.
