Who cares, costs are always on the rise. Not just gas. Just make sure your salary/income does too and it's all good.

I just dislike the sticker shock and the perception it causes in consumers. The more they pay at the pump the tighter they pull their purse strings in regards to everything else.
It sort of is a common reality now that gas under 2.00 is gone for good and mid to high two to three range is the norm for now on. It still sucks a great deal. Gas prices go up, food prices go up, other prices go up. Meanwhile minimum wage is at early 1962 levels after adjustments for inflation. Tuition expenses are also on the rise and more and more people live further away from places than ever before. Then to top it off interest rates are climbing. This all really effects are main consumers of our product which translates into lower checks for me. True most other countries have higher gas prices, but most other countries do not send me sales either. |

They are ugly, suck gas like it's limitless, roll over easily, pollute the environment more, use more resources to build, handle like pigs, take up more space on the road and in parking! The USA is the only country where there are as many of these trucks as cars. With all the negative reasons above why do (guestimate here)30-40% of americans drive them? What is the rest of the world missing? (or is it just cheap gas!) If the gas is cheap - does that mean you have to use more? :2 cents: |
