How many of you go to the gym?
I just started going back to the gym and it's kicking my ass.
I'm doing this class every day call spin/cycle class where you do a roadracing type stationary bike workout for about an hour. I spoke to the person that suggested this class to me after my first time doing it and told her that my legs felt like jello and I wanted to throw up. When I get back from my shooting trip, I found a 24 hr gym by me. I m going to join gonna do some cardio and light weight training for the first 12 weeks to get the rust out. Then take from there. I maybe fat but I decided I will be fit.

I go to the gym 4-5 times a week depending on the week. and yeah, those spinning bikes are about the most brutal piece of equipment there.

I go to the gym 1-2 times a week. I work out a lot on my own though. I go running every other day, and I have some equipment in my house.

Wow, that thing looks crazy. I stick to the traditional treadmill or stair stepper for cardio.

I've just lost a bunch of weight now it's just time to firm up. I have to wait a little bit longer for my arm to heal and then I'm going to get a personal trainer. I'm pretty sure they will whip me into shape pretty fast.
But I've heard incredible things about spin class...I've even looked into it. I enjoy bike riding, it's better to me than running, much easier on the knees too. |
I don't do the gym thing, but I do a 4-6 mile jog/brisk-walk almost every day.

I couldn't stay interested in a gym, that's why I started all the MMA stuff. I get a great workout but also have to think the whole time so I never get bored.

I lift 4 days a week but I am thinking of taking more spinning classes weekly. Probably the best cardio workout available.

I go to the gym two times a week only. However, I jog everyday for 15 minutes.

6 hours Cardio, 3 hours weights with trainer, and 8-10 hours of Jiu Jitsu each week.

my gf road races competitively, does spin 3 times a week, 2 hours a session. i hike and snowboard instead :glugglug

good for you! i bought a threadmill and some gym stuff but seldom use them at home. anyway, your thread has reminded me to start working out again before it's too late.

6 days a week, and 6 days a week 1 hour of stair stepper... started eating right 2.5 months ago along with the gym kick and i've lost 20 pounds and am FEELING GOOD

I quit a month ago after getting an injured ankle..
