HELP ME find these CROOKS!!! (pics + vids)

Ok, so some of you may know me from working together, and the ones that do, you know that i have a passion for riding sportbikes. This year i got the cream de la creme; a 2004 all black R1 (pictured below - liscence plate 568E7)
http://www.paintballcartel.com/bike/back.jpg

On sunday February the 12th, i came home to find my baby missing :( thats right, some motherfuckers had decided to sneak into my underground parking and take what is not theirs!!! Keep in mind that i live in Ontario, Canada - so its not like they took it for a joy-spin.....cause its well below 0 degrees here!!!

Thankfully i got my hands on the security tapes for the underground, so i have 2 vehicles as suspects:

http://www.paintballcartel.com/bike/van.jpg
http://www.paintballcartel.com/bike/car.jpg

These two vehicles classify as suspects for a couple of reasons:
a) These two cars do not park in my building.
b) when they navigate the parking garage, they get lost 3 or 4 times
c) They come in a 15:22 and leave at 15:27
d) There is no footage of them getting out of their cars, into the building.

So here is where some of you guys may be able to help - The footage i obtained is clear, but not clear enough to get a liscence plate. The media players i'm using are not helping either. I know some of you guys have access to software to clear and zoom stuff up, so if someone could come up with either of the plates, of both, or maybe any other info that you might find useful, i would appreciate it and i'll be sure to show my appreciation in Florida this august or next Vegas :thumbsup

Here are the videos of the 3 cameras where they appear:

Video 1 - You see a glimpse of the van and its drivers @ 40 seconds into the video.

Video 2 - This is the clearest shot of the 2 cars. The van comes in @ 27 seconds from the far back and drives right under the camera. The accord appears @ 59 seconds and the back plate is visible. Then @ 1:19 both cars make an exit.

Video 3 - Here you can see the 2 cars exiting the garage @ 2:47 into the vid. You can see that the drivers do not how to get out since they make a wrong turn into a big fat fuckin wall.

Even if you cant do anything, i appreciate you reading through this and maybe even just a bump to the thread for someone else to read would help :thumbsup Thank you in advanced and i will be checking up periodically.

If you live in the Toronto/Ontario area, please keep your eyes open for an all black R1, looks like this(but all black):

If anyone would like to get a hold of me thru icq, feel free to hit me up - 190107707

Thanks GFY!! :)

Dude I live in a nice neighborhood and just had my $700 3 month old head unit taken from my car parked in front of my house, and I'm out for blood. I can't even imagine your rage. Best of luck!

EdgeXXX 02-15-2006 09:14 PM

Sorry to hear about your bike man :Oh crap , it's a beauty. If it turns up in TX I'll let you know :1orglaugh :winkwink:

C-Bass 02-15-2006 09:14 PM

Oh, forgot to mention....

I DIDN'T HAVE ANY INSURANCE ON THIS :(

Bluewire Ross 02-15-2006 09:16 PM

no insurance???

bogo 02-15-2006 09:22 PM

fuckers...looks like 2 packie guys...you cant make out the licence plate number of the van in the 3rd video?

jacked 02-15-2006 09:26 PM

the license plate on the mini van looks like ( BWXP-433 ) or (BWXP-833) even with the first few or last few numbers of the plates the police should be able to narrow it down and since you have the make model and color of the vehicle it would make it even easier for them to locate... i would suspect the van more than the honda accord as they could have removed the seats in the van rolled up opened the doors both guys get out pick up the bike slide it in the van and their gone....

newbreed 02-15-2006 09:36 PM

I can't grab any 2 clear enough frames to work with man. Tried, no luck.

detoxed 02-15-2006 09:40 PM

Did you show those images to the cops?

newbreed 02-15-2006 09:44 PM

OK, you live in Ontario... Look up a guy named Grant Fredericks. If anyone can pull anything from those videos he can. He is a leading expert in forensic video processing. He uses a special AVID system and is based out of somewhere up there. I havent talked to him in a few years so I have no clue how to get a hold of him now, but def. give him a shot if you can locate him.

Nice Ride!

Bump for ya....

Hope you find it.

GTS Mark 02-15-2006 10:53 PM

I'm really sorry to hear you lost your bike, but WTF were you thinking about now having at LEAST theft and fire on your bike?

I understand the insurance rates on sportbikes (I'm a sportsbike fan) but theft and fire should really not be much at all.

I hope you find it.

DH

dij 02-15-2006 10:54 PM

shit, sorry to hear that man, wish you luck in investigation

Actually, theft insurance in ontario is whats pricy - this things are so easy to steal that its a huge liability to insurance companies.
