You should find a reverse license plate search site and try different combos of what the plate looks like if the police can't figure it out.

That bike is gone. But I would do my best to catch the guys and make them pay.

By the way. If you replace the bike, do yourself a favor. Put an alarm on it.

Take the center stand off, and only use the side stand. Hide a mercury switch that is connected to the loudest siren that you can fine, and when someone stands the bike up without disconnection the switch, look out.

the cops should be all over that. theres tons of evidence right there. what you've showed here is plenty more than people normally ahve to go one. those tapes can be enhanced to reveal the plates and the cops can locate the vehicles by registration at least. a lot of times they will end up being stolen vehicles though. people tend to jack a car for the specific need of the crime. in this case looks like they specifically jacked something to conceal a bike being taken. otherwise, pickup truck would have ben easier to load.

Actually, everyone has been very helpful so far. I've gotten a few hands to get liscence plate numbers. They will get checked tonight.

I will tell you I have been riding bikes for many many years.. and your bike is now is pieces and on ebay.... nothing you can really do to stop bike theft.. it sucks.. and the pussies that do it should be shot.... but nevertheless your bike is gone and I am sorry for your losss..... if your looking to pick up another one let me know... once again I am sorry for your loss... that is a nice R1 I had the same one sold it got the new gixxer1000 ...

Very true about the van likely being being stolen

The one in this case is a dodge caravan - one of the top ten stolen cars for the past ten years

Mine has been stolen 3 times and used for B & E's every time, a favorite for crooks sinse they are a dime a dozen, the bench seats can be discared in 5 minutes , do not look out of place in any situation and even come with dark tinted glass to hide the stolen items inside

every time my van has been found with stolen licence plated , replacing my own , so making any photo video useless , since the plate wont lead you to the van but just some other victim
