Hillary blasts Bush admn as ?worst? in US history

Hillary blasts Bush admn as ?worst? in US history

"We have a culture of corruption, we have cronyism, we have incompetence," she said. "I predict to you that this administration will go down in history as one of the worst that has ever governed our country."

LOL. I almost fell off my chair reading that.

Ya Al Gore is blasting Bush too. My sides are hurting this week from the laughs. lol

Tom_PM 01-17-2006 12:49 PM

Why not say something good about Bush instead of picking on a past president and vice president (who won the popular vote)?

When Bush was asked about how he thought history would view his presidency, his answer was "we wont know, we'll all be dead". Inspiring words.. lmao

Ya cause Ronald Reagan was so loved during his Presidency too.. :winkwink: Bush will be one of the best in history. Give it about 15 years.

TheJimmy 01-17-2006 12:52 PM

the ONLY thing that will save his ass on a 'historical' note is IF his little 'forced democracy' through the 'woops our intell was off, but hey, we're here anyway' campaign....works...

if that shit seeds some democracy that turns the middle east into a more western-friendly region, then he'll be noted as one of the 'best' presidents...if not, the opposite view could easily be held...

only a decade or 3 will tell...

Webby 01-17-2006 01:54 PM

Sheesh.. the usual Bush/Clinton bullshit. It's not only funny but kinda sad.

Try and get off the bandwagon and use the brain you were blessed with and at least try to get a balanced perspective of the world you live in.

At least try to evaluate life without droll partisan politics, flag waving and referring to junk propaganda websites to support your views.

Bush, Clinton, Reagan, Carter, Nixon, Kennedy and sundry had their faults and good points.

Hillary Clinton is playing her tune on your flute in the same way George Bush is. It's what they were coached to do. Take an unbiased hard look at both Pied Pipers before deciding which one to follow. Pied Pipers can't be trusted - so don't look for trust - it's never there. Ain't life a bitch? :winkwink:

The Demon 01-17-2006 02:17 PM

The problem is, liberals don't have a realistic perspective of the world they live in.

pornguy 01-17-2006 02:20 PM

Hillary is going to use this as a jumping off point to get herself into the whitehouse. Then all hell will break loose.

je_rome 01-17-2006 04:50 PM

I think she was reading the wrong manuscript. she forgot that she was reading an entry from her diary which she wrote after the Monica-gate scandal.

ajrocks 01-17-2006 05:07 PM

She's a real boob but she has a good point.

The Demon 01-17-2006 05:10 PM

Oh booohooo I'm allergic to logic and intelligence. O'Reilly is too smart for you to comprehend... Stick with the incompetent douchebag Bill Mahr

xclusive 01-17-2006 05:10 PM

I couldn't agree more it's going to take many years to get us out of the mess Bush has put us in

Bluewire Ross 01-17-2006 05:31 PM

Go Hillary. Go with your Bush-bashing! He deserve more than that...he should be electrocuted with the killing of innocent Iraqis...US soldiers...

I wonder why USA always ended up with wrong war...Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq.

Coming soon...Iran.

WME 01-17-2006 05:37 PM

thanks hilary for stating the obvious

DaddyHalbucks 01-17-2006 05:55 PM

The sad thing is many people don't know the facts, and some people will simply accept Hillary at face value. But she is not to be believed.

The fact is Bill Clinton only avoided impeachment through a corrupt political system. On the facts and the law, he was guilty as sin and should have been convicted and removed.

The Democratic party deserves 100 years of bad karma for their evil deeds in connection thereto, but the citizens were asleep at the switch and allowed their elected officials to whitewash his crimes. Slick Willy slithered out of another jam. The Arkansas Caligula saved his own ass once again--at any cost. The President is above the law!

Clinton's was the most corrupt administration ever.

The fact is the Clintons even stole furniture from the Whitehouse when they left, furniture which belongs to we the America people. That's pretty crass.

aico 01-17-2006 06:01 PM

Well since he has fucked up everything he's touched, I can't really say that I disagree.

War in Iraq - Fucked it up
Medicare - Fucked it up
Economy - Fucked it up
Katrina - Fucked it up
9/11 Attack - Fucked it up
US Reputation - Completely fucked it up
Foreign Allies - Fucked it up

I am sure there are more to add to the list, probably have just blocked them out of my mind somehow.

Well looking at it on this angle can be more interesting indeed. :thumbsup

The funny thing is, no matter how good a president is, there will always be misinformed jackasses like you critisizing him..

Oh yeah, and conservatives do. Terrorists attacked us so we need to attack a country that had nothing to do with it.

That's a real grasp of the real world.

That's the problem with todays conservatives, they think they can't make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. Look at Bush 1, he forgot to put ona a condom and now his mistake is president.

There's plenty more you could add and a few years to go yet. :1orglaugh

Sadly you are correct aico. Nobody can turn up trump cards all the time and I've deliberately tried to find *anything* that could remotely be described as "half-successful" and it's not easy. It would be nice to have *some* faith left.

I had no "opinion" one way or other on Bush prior to the Florida chad count - apart from he fucked up the economics and other stuff in Texas and this seemed to be claimed as a "success".

The very first time red lights started flashing was watching some TV news about 10 days after he entered the Whitehouse. In a brief statement lasting under one minute George reversed a substantial amount of the pledges he made to get elected.

There were about a dozen folks in the room at the time and nobody was really listening to George - but the place went silent and I remember people looking at each other stunned that anyone could have the balls to tell an elecorate "how its' not going to be" after having promised "how it is going to be" ten days earlier. It was obvious the US was gonna be in for some real shit for a few years ahead - and sure as hell that came to pass.

Bush then receded into the Whitehouse to become a state secret, locked the doors and became a closet politician with declining popularity till 9/11. The rest is history.

The shame is most of the sheep refuse to see or admit how fucked up things are.

uno 01-17-2006 08:04 PM

The only thing Bush ever did that I liked was when he was on the still smoking ruins at the WTC with the bullhorn. Some guy shouted out "We can't hear you!"

He shouted back "But I can hear you and the people who did this are going to hear all of you!"

That is the only good thing i can think of.

And you saw the real man right there. Not the image the media has tried to paint him with. Reagan got the same thing done to him, but with no internet, and less media blasting us daily alot didnt hear it. The left hated him worse than they hate GWB.
