i have 3 computers each with their own monitor

i do most of my work from the couch though, with the laptop sitting my lap

fuck a desk and shit, i have an office upstairs, but I only use it for writing music and my dj shit....although it is setup for regular office shit too

sitting on the couch is where it is at when working from home though

I have the same setup juicy has... couple of dell 21inch widescreens

Im using 2 - cant use 1 i have too much stuff going on!

Nah doesn't work. You need to view to full screens at the same time. For example, I like to see how a page looks on both Firefox and IE side by side.

Dual monitors just makes you a hardcore gamer. :error

Quad Xeon's, nine hot-swap drives, and two hot-swap power supplies, and a single monitor full of WinSCP sessions and PuTTY command-line dialogs. Now THAT'S a hardcore webmaster. :winkwink:

The minimum is 3 monitors if you want to be a hardcore gamer.

I had 2 monitors back around '85. Seemed like a good idea at the time, cool as heck and a complete waste of time: there was nothing I couldn't do as easily on one screen.

When I was on a project to sort out British Telecom's email network I had about 30 monitors stacked up in front of me, each one monitoring multiple post offices. It was amazing the speed at which the bars representing the mail queues could grow every time the mail backed up somewhere and began jamming the whole system :)
