I officially quit smoking today
 

My girl forced me to take a mile walk and I put on the Nicotine patch this morning-

Sweating out all the toxins as we speak.

Tommorrow marks my one month since I quit, it's been great but it was hard as hell the first few weeks. I pretty much ripped everybodys head off for saying hello or even opening their mouths ;)

if you can go 3 days with out smoking you probably will quit... good luck

last friday was one month for me on my new diet, new exercise, and NO CIGS life.

you will be amazed at how good you are going to feel in a few weeks.

if you really want to kick the nicotine quick, do a cleanse of your digestive tract on week two.

i feel like a million bucks and i am active and healthy feeling again. i'm hoping that my lungs will heal them selves in a few years.

first time i tried it i was ready to kill someone.

I did the same thing when I quit smoking, new diet, new lifestyle and I feel great! It really helped to change my habbits I had something else to concentrate on other then smoking.

Although I adore my girl I forced her to quit smoking- and she wanted to, to support me as well as she knows it's a filthy habit.

truth be told, I am going to be an uncle in a month- that's right D$ and J$ are making "change"
So I felt this Jewish New Year, coupled with the arrival of a new nephew was the best time to quit.

16 yrs is long enough to do something rotten to your body.
I really believe life is all about happiness.
When you aren't happy, you drink, smoke, and do drugs.

I am happy these days, making some good money- I have a certain hit TV show on the way- and a HOT girlfriend who lives with me.

with all of these blessings in my life I'd be a fool not to take better care of myself- and have been a fool for far too long.

I see a lot of 30 day anniversarys. No cigs for 30 days for me either. I have smoked for 45 years. I quit once before for 1 1/2 years & thought I could smoke socially once in awhile..... didn't work. I wasn't planning on quitting smoking for another week or so, but I already had the patches and ran out of cigarettes.... so, I just slapped on the patch and that was it!. I have been hitting the hard candy a lot though.

None of my friends in Florida smoke - that helps a lot. It's my 4 day trip to Vegas on Halloween that will be the trial. Hard to be in Vegas & not smoke!!!!
