Is it time to Impeach Bush
and get a man that can handle the job? The buck stops somewhere. After 5 days, its on the presidents desk.
There are a million solutions to make the situation better. I drove past a school buss parking lot on the way home today. Hundreds of buses. Close school in our area for a couple of days drive down to NO and bus people to Houston or where ever. Roads clogged? We don't have the air power? Give me a fucking break. People to help, we've got volunteers out the ass! What we don't have is leadership! All Bush has to do is pick up the phone and start making some orders and excutive decisions. Not taking care of the situation at the Superdome is a PR nightmare for him and one that he could of quickly resolved. Solution 203 - Call Scott AFB just outside of St. Louuis and say we need all the C-130s you have filled with food and medical supplies ready to go in 8 hours. A call to local food stores or churches would produce enough supplies to fill them Do an air drop. A public request on TV and Radio would bring out thousands with more than would be needed. Maybe it is time for the people to act? Maybe it is past time. I hear all these words about the calvery is comming, help uis on the way. Bull fucking shit. You go with out enough food and water for 5 days. Looters, gangs. No problem. You get to loot food and stuff to stay alive otherwise you are shot on the spot. Bill Clinton was looking for a legacy! Trust me he fucked up big time (China etc). Mr Bush, you've found your's and it smells. |
That could have been a lot longer, but I know we al hate long threads.
|
I agree with you, but there is no way he will get impeached

They say care providers fear to enter the area because of the gangs etc. Its time to have the balls to take control of the situation, even if that means the National guard or regular troops return fire.
Right now there appears to be total lawlessness. Time to kick ass and gain control and get aid to those that survive. |
his daddy would never allow that to happen
|
He never got his dicked sucked by an intern, so he's pretty much free and clear. :1orglaugh

"If you are going to blame it on Bush it is just hollow....hollow" - Bill O'Reilly
about 10 seconds ago... |
Anyone watch the news today...he was standing at the front of a line as someone handed out food to people, shaking hands and hugging people...one dude got his stuff and just walked right past him, bush had his hand out and everything, and got fucking denied.

Did he get a blow job this weekend? What possible reason could we have for impeachment.... I've seen no stained dresses around.

I'm sure it's not the first time that happens ... I probably do the same in this situation |

Impeachment is for "high crimes and misdemeanors" --not because you don't like him or his Daddy. New Orleans was a disaster waiting to happen for long before Bush became President. You grossly underestimate the time necessary to dispatch 40,000 National Guard personnel and supplies. The transportation infrastructure in New Orleans is gone. Let's see some blame, any responsibility at all, for the people who ignored the evacuation orders. OK, most are poor. Still, scrape together a few bucks and get on a bus! These people were warned about the hurricane, and they failed to act responsibly. |

Let me ask you this though, are you happy with his performance regarding the gulf situation. Is he competent to handle the crisis in a timely fashion? BTW, I am a conservative republican and voted for him. |

Let's see then, what has George Dubya lied about...hmmm, there are so many to choose from, but let's go with the undeniable most obvious - the WMD as the main reason for going to war with Iraq, which has in turn led to chaos in the Middle East and nearly 2,000 dead Americans? The stain of that lie is blood red and much more evil than the stain on Monica's blue dress. Yet Bush's supporters scream "stay the course". Bush, Cheney et al have never come clean about Enron, Haliburton, the Valerie Plame incident or the way the oil industry has been enriched while unemployment and the national deficit have soared to new heights. But we're still just supposed to stay the course?!? The first five days in New Orleans and Mississippi are almost a microcosm of the first five years of Dubya's presidency. An unmitigated disaster. http://photos1.blogger.com/img/189/2...ush-poster.jpg ADG Webmaster |

But you know this, you are just a tool. "With forecasters warning of a Category 5 storm, the president made sure the federal response would not be delayed, declaring emergencies in Mississippi and Florida just hours after a similar declaration for Louisiana. Such declarations make federal aid available to assist with disaster relief, but they rarely are made before a storm hits." " In Washington, the Federal Emergency Management Agency was coordinating relief efforts sending water, food and other supplies to staging centers in the Southeast. FEMA was moving supplies from logistics centers in Atlanta and Denton, Texas, to areas closer to where authorities thought the storm would create a need. " August 28th Bush was preparing the relief effort and FEMA was getting supplies close to the area for a quick response. So tell me, what the fuck happened? |

The electricity companies and other services had people stationed in Baton Rouge and other places just away from the storms track ready to go in as soon as possible after Katrina passed. If a bunch of pornographers and the elec company can work it out why couldnt the massive resourses of the federal govt do it? |

Dated August 28th
"FEMA is moving supplies of generators, water, ice and food into the region for immediate deployment once the storm passes. FEMA?s Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) and Disaster Medical Assistance Teams (DMATs) are also staged for immediate response anywhere in the region. The funding and direct federal assistance will assist law enforcement with evacuations, establishing shelters and other emergency protective measures." http://bbsnews.net/article.php/20050828205806593 |
As usual, an issue is looked at from a myopic point of view.
This issue is not, and should not be a Federal issue. For too long a segment of the population has relieved themselves of all personal liberty and given it to the Federal government. I call this Mommy Mentality. Mommy should help me, Mommy should be there to hold our hands, etc etc. The Federal Government is your Mommy. Your state government is usually your partner. Do you fear your state? Do you fear your Federal Government? This country was set up so the states handled all domestic issues, locally... within the state. The larger problem is, the US population has had its tax dollars and freedoms moved to one central location... Washington D.C. Do you want to resolve this issue, and most issues that effect people locally? Remove the power from Washington, D.C. where it was never supposed to be put. The concept is State's Rights and it is the basis for the constitution. Over many decades the US people have slowly given their entire freedom of choice to a gaggle of people who's whole reason for existence is to move all control to one place. Greed for unquestioned power and control of a ton of tax dollars, where the citizens truly have no choice. Could your state handle its affairs without Washington, D.C.? Each state is setup to be a mini-US federal government. Is balkanization the next logical choice for this nation? Imagine if your local state government, who has a closer feel for what its people want, was the government. A complete balkanization. It would make states compete for residents, and allow true freedom of choice. Do you want a state that is a Blue state? Do you want a Red state? All of this could truly be possible if each state was given its constitutional right to dictate the rules in its territory. The time is upon us, and is the most logical direction. |
