Here's mine:

A frog is hopping along and falls into a well. Upon climbing out; every day the frog climbs three steps and every night falls 2 steps back.

How many days would it take the frog to get out of the well?

Post office gets a letter with the following address:

WOOD
MASS

there was no return address
Because none of the postal workers could figure out where to deliver the letter it sat in the dead letter section for two years.
After two years a new postal worker was assigned to the dead letter office.
His job was to figure out how to deliver the items .. the next day this letter was delivered.
Can you figure out who and where to deliver the letter?

Another one to keep the brain juices flowing

100 prisoners are locked up in prison. Each prisoner in his own cell. They cannot communicate with each other, except for the one afternoon when they all arrived in prison.

Every day, the warden picks one prisoner at random and brings him to a
room with a lightbulb and a lightswitch. The lightbulb is in whatever
state it was left the day before. The prisoner can now choose from 3
things:
1) he leaves things as it is
2) he toggles the lightswitch
3) he states that all 100 prisoners have been in this room at least
once.

After option 1 or 2, the prisoner is brought back to his cell. If the
prisoner decided to go for option 3, but he is wrong, they are all
executed. If he is right, they all go free.

Given that the prisoners are aware of this evil game that the warden is
going to play with them, what is the strategy they should decide on the
day they arrived in prison, when they could still talk to each other?
Assume the prisoners know the bulb is initially at the off position.

Note: random means random. It may happen that the same prisoner is
chosen 2, 3, or more days in a row.

I'll post another one here, probably easier than yours:

Only when it rains does she take the elevator directly to the 34th floor.

I'm going to take a stab at the prisoner one, though I usually suck at these.

The inmates should decide that the first person only should flip the switch to 'on'. Then if anyone finds it in the off position after that, they know a) the warden is messing with them or b) there's a new prisoner in the mix. So after it's been switched to off, then can guess option 3?

Errr.. that doesn't even make complete sense.

If the original position is OFF, then the first chosen turns it on.
Next person turns it off. Next person turns it on. etc.

Should someone be chosen who has already flipped the switch, he will leave it alone. Thus no changes occur and felllow prisoners know not to count that night's lighting.

By counting the changes, they can wait until all one hundred of them have flipped the switch.

although thats a good guess it would not work because the prisoners cannot communicate any longer ... only the prisoner who is chosen after the one that makes 'no changes' would be aware there were 'no changes'.
The final prisoner would not know he shouldn't have counted that one or any of the other 'no changes'.

Fill up 3 gallon bucket. Dump it in 5 gallon bucket.

This is a simple math problem.

Fill the 3 gallon bucket and pour it into the 5 gallon bucket.
