thank you

fünkmaster 03-24-2005 06:41 PM

... I wish petrol would rise another 500% this year, less scum on the roads, less congestions, more fun for myself.
:thumbsup

TurboAngel 03-24-2005 06:44 PM

It's $2.10 here, I'm glad I have a Honda.

:)

KMR Stitch 03-24-2005 06:45 PM

So?

The gas prices are not that high if you compare it to the 1970's

Compare inflation

Babagirls 03-24-2005 06:46 PM

took me $45 to fill up the truck yesterday :(

Sly 03-24-2005 06:47 PM

I like how you mentioned the names of both of your luxury vehicles while complaining about gas prices. :)

But yeh, gas prices are up right now. Nothing new really.

gdog 03-24-2005 06:49 PM

Beats taking public transport, so oh well what you gonna do, we ain't go no say in it. The jag costs about 40 to fill up here in Diego, I wonder how much damage I would really do to the engine if I did not use premium like they suggest.

wedouglas 03-24-2005 06:57 PM

2.30 for premium here

$5 submissions 03-24-2005 06:59 PM

I saw an interesting show on BIODIESEL recently. Some people had modded diesel engines that use USED COOKING OIL. Reduced cost by 80%

baddog 03-24-2005 07:10 PM

Yeah, can't believe it costs $10 to fill up the bike

webgurl 03-24-2005 07:14 PM

SuckOnThis 03-24-2005 07:15 PM

I don't understand why diesel gas is now 40 cents higher than unleaded when just a year ago it was 40 cents cheaper than unleaded. Cost me $80 to fill my truck.

At least they have freedom now :1orglaugh

Head 03-24-2005 07:29 PM

fl_prn_str 03-24-2005 07:31 PM

Well according to CNN....after the refinery explosion in TX....refinery that producers 3% of all domestic US gas....prices should go up again slightly. But don?t blame bush totally on this one??its another group altogether???OPEC.

MandyBlake 03-24-2005 07:48 PM

INever 03-24-2005 07:50 PM

I saw video of a guy that invented an engine that ran on water

I saw a video of this guy who had modified a car engine to run with a chemical reaction and water. You could drink the exhaust and the damm thing went cross country on a few gallons of water cause you could recycle the water somehow.

Unfortunately the newscaster who did that program, the inventor, the inventors family and the television station owner have mysteriously dissappeared, and all copies of the video have vanished off the net.

Which has had ties to the Bush family for over 50 years.

"What I think the president ought to do is get on the phone with the OPEC cartel and say we expect you to open your spigots," declared the opposition party?s standard-bearer. "One reason why the price is so high is because the price of crude oil has been driven up. OPEC has gotten its supply act together and it?s driving the price, like it did in the past. And the president must jawbone OPEC members to lower the price." Nor should domestic price-gougers consider themselves safe from presidential retaliation: "And if in fact there is collusion amongst big oil, [the president] ought to intercede there as well."

No, the foregoing words were not spoken by John Kerry in 2004, but by George W. Bush in 2000, assailing the energy policy of Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

mockingbich 03-24-2005 09:30 PM

Peak Oil baby - today's prices are cheap compared to what you'll be paying 5 years from now

shageman 03-24-2005 09:31 PM

the cost of fuel is going up to build and restore iraq is what they are saying, the sooner iraq gets everything in line then the boys can come home, their are more soldiers on the rigs then there are in the citys.

KRL 03-24-2005 09:36 PM

PokerCams 03-24-2005 09:37 PM

Sosa 03-24-2005 10:23 PM

No kidding.

If you had a dairy farmer as president would you be surprised that milk cost $8 a gallon?

dready 03-24-2005 10:48 PM

Insane? No kidding, it should be minimum $5. $2 is fucking rediculous cheap. I hope it goes up real soon so things can get better.

I have run nothing but B20 in my car since it's been available here (1.5yrs). It costs a little more but it's better for the car, better for enviro, and give my money to a farmer instead of oil company. Diesel is the future.

Pornwolf 03-24-2005 10:53 PM

It sucks. I wonder what people are going to do when that $60 to fill up the SUV turns into $150. It's coming in the next couple of years. That's gonna be interesting.

Only dumb liberals thought we were there for the oil. Iraq has never provided much oil to us.

xclusive 03-24-2005 11:03 PM

Things are only going to get worse in the next 3 or 4 years until we come up with something to replace it

No, the US certainly doesn't need the oil. What they need though, is for it to be sold in US dollars. When Iraq started selling in Euros, that was a major sin to be punished. War came immediately.. you just don't do that... and now? Iraqi oil is once again denominated in dollars. Mission accomplished.
