EMAIL PROMOTION IS NOT TOLERATED

Sending traffic from email will result in immediate termination and all monies forfeited.
PimpRoll accepts no email promotion OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER.
Any traffic from email will result in immediate account cancellation and forfeiture of all monies.

I logged in to see about selling their new solo girl site and was greeted with this announcement.

guess you have to call everyone instead

I think all affiliate programs sooner or later will be headed in that direction.

Everyone is getting letters from the FTC now. They are on a witch hunt and someone, some sponsor, is naming names.

Once Epoch EU launches all this will be mute.

Just read the pimproll board seems they weren't making much profit from mail traffic anyway.Below is what prdave wrote on the pimproll board

for most sponsors is major hassle to accept mailers. 1 out of many to mail will have a real good list

you gotto be very big and very secure to accept mail traffic...
plus you need big balls...

What's this I'm hearing about EPOCH EU?

Mail promotion was such a tiny % of our BIZ.

As most already know we've been phasing it out over the last year.

I am sure there are plenty of other sponsors that will gobble it all up and good luck to them

PimpRoll is not interested in this type of marketing.

Anyone can make a quick buck, but the FTC can also freeze all assests overnight.

Question for pimproll,

Do you still allow traffic from sites that mail , but dont directly mail for pimproll.

Lets take a hypothetical situation..

I have a vbulletin forum , much like gfy , but its a surfer porn forum.

To read the threads you must be a registered member of the forum.

On the forum i post different categories of free hosted galleries.

Every month or so ( usually when i do a major update ) i email out a notice about the update on my forum to every user in the form of a newsletter.

The newsletter never contains advertisers names or even site names, it usually is described as follows.


Dear user XXXXX

We have just added a major update to the website.

144 new cumshot pictures added
121 new cumshot videos added
103 new lesbian videos added


P.s. dont forget to login now and again to check for messages and updates ont he site.

FTC? they are not an US company

Smokey if you mail your subscribers about updates to your sites and the destination pages on your site have PimpRoll ads. Your account will be closed.

Also if you promote PimpRoll from behind password protected areas without our approval, your account will be closed.

No it wouldnt be anything like that . The destination page would simply be the forum , just like gfy newsletters

Infact no pimproll banners would be displayed , only free hosted galleries, ( and that would be a few pages inside the forum )

btw this is a hypothetical question , i'm not a pimproll affiliate , i'm just asking.

lets forget the password protection for now , thats not really applicable anyways.

Like for example, GFY is an advertiser for pimproll arent they ? and they email me newsletters that i click and directly display your banners, just curious as to how this affects them/us/future

And we can go through a million senarios here, but...

If you send an email to someone, and the destination page (could be after numerous re-directs and jump pages) has an ad or link for an adult related PimpRoll product, your account will be closed.

if it's an actual newsletter that is opted in to and actually contains some information...it better not have any pimproll ads?

Is anyone else doing this? I want to take their ads out of my newsletters if I'm not going to be paid for them...

note, these aren't just ads sent to people, these are actual join4free type newsletters

Opt-in adult xxx newsletters (join4free type newsletters) will no longer be an acceptable method for promoting our products.
