If you were building a Paysite program...
what would you offer your webmasters?
Here's my short list: -- a site suite that has been traffic-tested and validated for at least 6 months -- site tours, members' areas, and content that have gone through several generations of client feedback, redefinition, and statistical analysis -- an affiliate tracking system that allows for BYOTs/Tour modification -- traffic tracking system that filters traffic info based on source and tours -- at least 65% partnership -- adding community and a high level of interactivity to the member's area |
Sounds like a solid start.
|
at least 65%? woah that's a nice chunk.

I like the 65% :) it is nice to get that from some programs.

goodluck with your program :)
|
Beer please.
|
pay per join, even if it's a low $20
|
Sounds solid but I think you might want to rethink the whole BYOT option. It didn't work out well for ARS v1.0
|
Tested for six months?
Well then you cant really call it fresh content and thats what converts |

Would people be interested in Incentive packages?
instead of reward points, maybe offer Free Trips to Japan or the Great Wall of China or other exotic landmarks. |
yeah, you forgot about the free beer

More payout options than just checks and wire.
|
How about Western Union payouts?
|
Instead of daily cash payouts via courier, how about advances against future signups.
Let me know when you're ready. :winkwink: -Dino |

all sounds very nice but as vague as can be
-- adding community and a high level of interactivity to the member's area so whats that ? i wanna hear ideas :) |

exactly :) |

I can tell you why BYOT was destined to fail if ya folks like:)
|
i want :)

One great thing about BYOT is that it addresses a key issue that many programs seem to miss--who's in a better position to know the proclivities/tendencies of a webmaster's traffic? the sponsor or the webmaster sending the traffic? If it's the latter, then why not give the latter some tools to sculpt the marketing materials to the psychological landscape of his surfers? |
Dedicated support staff, that is willing to go out of their way to arrange private deals (better payouts for high volume, free dedicated hosting and content for experienced gallery submitters) instead of the usual one-fits-all approach.

An idea that worked for me..
More than testing the site... A lot of pre launch promotion...
I did a hell of a lot for Sahara Gets Dirty, starting 2 months before the site was launched. The first 2 sign up's came within 30 mins of the launch and it's carried on from there.. You will also need a lot of promotional material for affiliates, not that many of them will use it, as 99% are too damn lazy and will just add a link on a TGP or links site to your FHG etc. I wonder how many would go for BYOT if they can't even bother to use a banner... :) |

Doesnt matter. You are still going to be feeding it s.e, tgp, mail, ll, whatever traffic for 6months. Doesnt matter if you genrate it or 1000 affiliates. BTW answer your ICQ i need a quote for a small job. |
Instant payout. Plenty of promo material. A forcasting system for your track trends.
Multiple payout methods. Hourly URL stats reporting [realtime]. Banner Free hosting. Free Counter. Fresh Weekly Hosted Galleries & Content. First 10 Joins @ $50.00 or a High Percentage Payout Of The Sign Ups For a Full Week To Test Your Program... |
65% on a site that retains and converts? I'd be allll over it!!
|
If you put together a program like that and used nats i'd support the hell out of you...
|
Suddenly there is a silence. :oD

Forecasting system, I think I've seen this before. There's many private free hosting deals. Maybe it's a better idea for the sponsor to directly approach affiliates that are pushing a lot of hits and give them free hosting. |

Is it really 65%? Or is it 65% and processing comes out of our end so we are really only making about 50%?
