How many have you have been faithful to your wives? I mean, NO sex with anyone BUT her. I am especially wanting to hear from those who have been married for a LONG time. :winkwink:

My husband of almost 22 years is trying to tell me he is the ONLY man who's ever been faithful that long... like he has broken some record somewhere.. and I wanna prove his ass wrong and chop that ego down a notch or two. So PLEASE tell me he isn't the only one that's been faithful this long. :1orglaugh

Nope, I know he has been.. I have absolutely zero doubt about that. He's a good boy. Maybe because I have given him reign where he can go to the strip clubs and he can go hang out with the boys and shit, I even promote this idea. But he isn't a drinker, partier or anything, he's very much a homebody type, and he adores his family. I won't say he hasn't been tempted, and he even admits this, but he hasn't ever acted on this. He's told me when he gets tempted. He's just honest like that. :winkwink:

My Aunt Lydia and Uncle Gust were married for 65 years, and they were only ever with each other. I found this out by overhearing a conversation he had with his brother where he admitted she was the only woman he'd ever been with (they got married when she was 16)

i have been faithful, but its only been 4 months of marriage so i guess my vote don't count.

Tam tell Jimmie he is not alone, Amy and I will be married 18 years this January, and yes I have been 100% faithful (as hard as it's been..haha) for the entire time.:winkwink:

... before that we dated for about 9 years - mostly faithful, except when we were "dating other people" during college.

Well I have only been married 8 years, but together 10, and my wife is the only woman I have had sex with. now she and I had a threesome a few times with one of her female friends, but that was kind of like, consentual cheating, but I have never actively pursued a woman other than her during our marriage and I never would. I would not want to break her heart like that. She is too good of a person.

My wife and I have been married for 25 years and I've never cheated on her. My philosophy is that if I have to go somewhere else, then why bother being married at all.

I would never hurt my wife like that. Cheating is just a pathetic act of betrayal.

This is the same way he is. He takes his vows very seriously and he'd divorce me before he'd cheat on me. This is not to say he's never been tempted, he's human, of course he has..... but he's never cheated on me and I'd stake my life and everything I hold dear on it.. He was n a band for many many years and he'd have friends bring him girls, but he never laid a hand on even one of them.

THANK you for posting this, I think people have problems believing that people can be happily married and faithful this long. LOL

martin and BVF, I see where you are coming from, honestly, I do.... but I am not that simple, I know he's been turned on by other girls, I am not that crazy, he's even told me as much, but he's never acted on it once. I think maybe a lot of it is his upbringing by his mom and her instilling the value of commitments. This and I am not a nagging, bitchy wife, I am in 100% support of his male bonding and I don't think I have to be there in his face every second of every single day. We have a great relationship and I would literally bet my life on his faithfullness.

my parents have been married almost 53 years, pretty sure no cheating went on there based on comments other women made to me about my dad after I was an adult

much depends on how the wife takes care of the man.

if a wife is smart she will take care of her guy so well that he has no desire to seek sex outside his marriage.

quality hot sex is only one component of a successful marriage ---and the longer you are married the less important it is.

i will make a blanket statement with re: to sex and marriage.

if the wife is an enthusiastic swallower she has a very good chance of keeping her man forever.

I've been faithful to my right hand for years and years. My parents have been together for nearly 34 years without cheating on each other. I wouldn't say they love each other, but neither of them could ever get laid with anyone else. :1orglaugh
