Please consider this project cancelled.

As a company we dont expect details of ANY works in progress being disclosed to individuals outside of GA Media Corporation.

I have spoken to both our CEO and CFO about this matter and both Gary and Chris Alan are in agreement that until such time that WE decide to disclose any information about any sites we are getting designed such information should remain confidential between us and the company carrying out the work for us.

It is with regret that we must take this line of action however, im sure that if the roles were reversed in this situation you, or any other company will feel the same way as we do right now.

This is the last public comment we, as a company will make on this matter, if you have any further issues you would like resolving, you have and have had my email address, icq and AIM for a few years now so you know how to reach me.

If you sent an invoice to [email protected] we will honor the cost of the as yet un-completed works.

Seems to me that YOU had a purchase agreement for design that was long past due. YOU and the company have now decided to not pay for it. If confidentiality was of the upmost importance then it would be required by the buying company to render that in writting and in the initial order. That can not be a clause latter that is added to an agreement unless it is agreed up on by both parties. This is not something you can decide latter.
On top of that since you were very late in payment you deffinatly can not decide such a clause exsists when the designer has exhausted any private means and turns it over for public collection.
To top it off I am sure you did not negotiate or get a copyright on the design, which would of course be invalid anyways due to non payment. Without such a copyright the designer can do what he or she pleases in regards to displaying their work.

It was never on our site to begin with as it wasnt finished. Yet Blue Design Studios decided to tell / show people about it anyway.

Thats why we cancelled this project with them.

... as a matter of the fact this shit has been going on for almost a year now. use the serach function and you'll see bluedesign isn't the only design company that has not received payments from lee & company.

Never dealt with Lee myself but I have only heard bad things about him so cant say I would ever throw any business his way.

Usually we do however, we decided in this instance it was in both parties interest to have a 'paid' job done.

Just a shame the site and creatives were never finished before Andrew (or whoever at BDS) decided to start posting the site links everywhere for all and sundry to see.

Basically, that happened, we cancelled the project and are awaiting an invoice from Andy so we can be rid of this unfortunate incident.

Nothing else to it :)

Of course I would be pissed if some company posted my designs publicy before they were finished and I had them up??
