NY is the most multicultural city in the states and from the little I know NYers express themselves easier and more freely than others. In my eyes it isn't just an american protest against G.W.B's administration, but more like a world protest.

250,000 or 500,000 people out of a city the size of New York are protesting? So how many are NOT protesting? A much greater number.
