How many of you are on the LOW CARB DIET?
I was on it last year and i lost 40lbs Really! This year i gain half of it back. Now I'm trying to get back on it and it's so much harder :)

I'm on the prison diet. Bread and water. It's working much better than my ethiopian diet of just air and air. :1orglaugh
Seriously though, the way I've lost weight is by just eating less every day and drinking more water and cutting out pop. |

I do the low carb thing. I don't eat processed meats though, I only eat vegans. Their diets are so fucking pure you know? So they have this really tender, toxin free meat. Mmm Vegan, it's what's for dinner.

Here's an Idea what if you just eat regular portions and exercise a little? You will lose weight just burn more calories than you take in easy as that... The low carb thing will help you in the short run but in the long run it hurts the heart...

carbs=energy low or now carbs=low or no energy..sorry..but the whole carb thing is insane..
alot of factors that contribute to people being overwieght (besides medical problems) are the amount they eat and when they eat versus how much they do to expend that energy..what ever that activity may be...its really common sense and self control. |

i tried the low carb thing, makes me very angry and grouchy, now i am on the eat whatever diet, just not so much and try to take the stairs, go swimming and maybe i will even go to the gym! at least that way it will stay more or less off??but how to loose some a bit faster?????

Alergic to carbs? Is that even possible? That nearly sounds like an alergy to air. Does a bubble come next?
Now seriously as someone pointed out. If you just eat regular portions within your daily recomendation and do some (not even moderate) excersize you will loose weight. I do think high fructose sugars/syrups are evil though and do consume as little of those as possible. Other than that I eat a healthy regular diet that is seasonally based and never have had even close to a weight problem. Hell when I had some roommates long ago they all went from overweight to regular weight while living with me, since I did the majority of cooking and shopping. It is nice to be able to splurge on occassion and eat stuff you should not consume yet just desire, and we do so. |
the LOW (not cutting them out, just reduce them) carb thing is a great way to lose weight, but nothing beats a proper diet and excercise

I was on it and lost 50 pounds in a nine month period I didn't even exercise once...
That was over a year ago and I have managed to keep it all off through regular exercise and eating a normal balanced diet Atkins kicks ass :thumbsup |
