It's basically a tool where you can contact someone anonymously, for example, you can create a nick and post the link to it on say an eBay auction, then if someone sees your auction and has a question, they can click your link and talk directly to you, without downloading anything. Neat idea, they just launched it yesterday and they already have around 300 people signed up. Go signup and get the name you want before it's too late. :thumbsup


This isn't spam either, so don't start flaming me. My friend is one of the founders of PayPal and this thing, and he just sent me a link. Unfortunately I don't get royalties or any advertising pay.

cool i guess, but whats wrong with giving out your AIM / ICQ or YMSG name? they're already anonymous to begin with.

the other person doesnt have to have icq/aim/yahoo/msn ... they just have to click the link.

there are already things that do this, you click a button on a site and a chat box opens up with live tech support.. if someones around.

You think that this is the only thing doing that? Ever had a ham radio? You can pick up cell phone calls. Your landline phones are recorded, what you say in the post office and other government buildings are monitored, they know what you do all the time. PayPal and this new thing is nothing compared to the government.

Plus, of course PayPal has to report shit to the feds, it's part of the banking system, and there are laws governing that sort of thing. They have a crazy sophisticated system for tracking all sorts of shit. Just keep it legit and you won't have any problems.

come on AOL is not logging you AOL/AIM sessions. if they were people would be getting busted left and right for shit.
