Why do you keep so much in a checking acount... theres more interest to be made other places. (Unless you plan on writing 17K worth of checks this month) Thats foolish. :2 cents:

Libertine 01-04-2004 11:05 AM

How long did it take you to build that up?
If you went from 0 to that in the last 4 months, it's pretty impressive. If it took you over a year, it's fairly lame.

BradShaw 01-04-2004 11:05 AM

Would not even cover my shopping for a month.

Slack? You are the pathetic loser who posted his checking account balance.
If that is your life savings, you are in trouble. Stop posting on boards and go to work. You have a lot of catching up to do.

slapass 01-04-2004 11:11 AM

EscortBiz 01-04-2004 11:17 AM

Congrats you heading in the right direction

A few years ago I was walking in NYC all of a sudden it started raining real hard, it was about 3 AM taxis where full so I decided to go into citibank at the ATM and wait.

While I was there I must have looked at about 50 ATM receipts I dont think even 1 had more then $200 in the account.

The fact that you dont spend every penny you have is what matters.

Good luck

Digipimp 01-04-2004 11:19 AM

And only minutes later it was gone. :glugglug
