Why is tomorrow special?

Turning now to the litigation, we have recently learned that the pending cases have been reassigned to a new judge, Judge James Ware from the Northern District of California. Judge Ware will be holding a hearing on Nov. 7 to discuss the case and to put in place a plan to efficiently resolve the issues of infringement and validity of these patents. I look forward to Acacia?s allegations being put to the test before this well respected judge.

AVN article about the first court meeting:

BTW, it's the defendants not IMPA that is directly fighting Acacia's patent infringement claims. So Good Luck to:

Video Secrets

Ademia

Win or lose, these companies need to be remembered, and supported by other webmasters who might utilize their services.

It is one thing to run a business in an already difficult economic and political environment, adding the acacia nuisance into the mix creates a distraction which makes ordinary business even more difficult, if only because it diverts your attention (and $).

It would be good if all these companies (like JMM recently posted) would provide a complete menu of their webmaster services so those of us that might be choosing vendors could see exactly what is offered. A little fresh business to these companies RIGHT NOW would do some good.

Good Luck Guys and hopefully Acacia will get destroyed tommorrow.

SleazyDream 11-06-2003 01:13 PM

luck isn't necessary. the patents are BULLSHIT, the judge will see that and rule accordingly.

if those patents are upheld then people will start taking out patents on things like typing with two hands next........

I think this is an excellent idea:

"Win or lose, these companies need to be remembered, and supported by other webmasters who might utilize their services.

2 cents: If you can't afford to support IMPA - support those who are carrying the load.
