Russian t.v. reports The Iraqis laid a ambush in Basra by surrendeering some troops in a small part of the city and letting the americans enter, once inside Iraqi civilians threw flowers and cheered the americans, once the americans felt safe and started to mingle, hundreds of Saddam?s Fedayeen Suicide female bombers attacked and killed hundreds of american troops....in the rush to get out the americans left via the same streets they entered, only to find the iraqis had laid remote controlled bombs under the roads, total death toll could run as high as 10,000 american troops....although im against this war, my heart goes out to the families in america wen they get the news of their children dying...its time for this war to stop!

For the record, the Washington post has now just also posted an article supporting the fact that American troops have been killed by Fedayeen in Iraq....

Other news sources are starting to say this, but their numbers are around 100 or so. Like the first post said "could run as high as 10,000". He wasn't saying 10,000.

Are you that retarded on this subject? The news is purposely censored here. Was it on the news that the attack on Iraq actually started hours before the deadline? What about the video of the POW's that isn't shown here. It's a fact, other news sources aren't scared to post the news as soon as they get it whereas the US waits until they are given the OK.

U.S. field officers said the Marine battalion spearheading the fight had suffered significant casualties in a battle with irregular guerrilla fighters known as Saddam's Fedayeen.

They gave no details but a CNN television correspondent at Nassiriya quoted eyewitnesses in the battle as saying they had seen at least 10 American bodies around an amphibious assault vehicle that had been hit by a rocket-propelled grenade.
