it's the main thing I've done for 15 years really, it's something I'm interested in and enjoy... so why not? I was getting asked several times a month to take on clients, but I was always just too busy for it

I wasn't knocking it I promise - In fact I like that you are doing what you like doing - I need to grow a pair and do the same - 'Safe' is boring...

the game has severely changed. I hope you know what you're doing, it's a completely different ball game now... I do SEO for some clients as well, make sure you let them know a giant disclaimer that absolutely nothing is certain. You cant count on google to be somewhat stable anymore like in the old days.

and this... anybody who really kicks ass in seo isn't working for clients. I had SEO on lock as well 5 years ago, since the penguins & pandas all went to shit.
