Dinosaurs on Noahs Ark? Must see Documentary

Yes thats right - modern "Creation" Theory (yes they have evolved it) says that Noah did indeed carry 2 of each Dinosaur on his mega yacht.

This is a must see documentary on the attempt to force this fairy tale into the textbooks of our nations schools.

This a a war that has been raging for years - these lunatics are trying to get evolution removed from High School learning curriculum...scary stupid.

It's on Netflix

this is from the top "Creationist" president and founder of Answers in Genesis-U.S. and the Creation Museum, Ken Ham.

http://www.christianpost.com/news/di...en-ham-101701/

"Evolution has used dinosaurs more than almost anything else to indoctrinate children into millions of years of evolutionary ideas. Evolution has claimed dinosaurs evolved over 200 million years ago. That no humans ever lived with them?that some mysterious event led to the extinction of dinosaurs," says Ham in the one-minute ad titled "What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs?"

"But the Bible gives a different history. God tells us he created all land animals the same day he created man about 6,000 years ago and what's more there were even dinosaurs on Noah's Ark because God told Noah to take pairs of every kind of land animal. You see, dinosaurs are no mystery at all if you accept the Bible's account of creation," notes Ham.

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear announced that his state?s Creationism Museum will soon be joined by a creationism theme park named ?Ark Encounter,? making Kentucky the unofficial creationism capital of our 6,000-year-old world. Some of the ?edutainment? promised by the park include a Walled City, a Tower of Babel, and a ?500-foot-long wooden replica of Noah?s Ark? that, as was revealed in the press conference, will feature dinosaurs.

The location is only 20 miles from "Big Bone Lick" State Park. True story.

I find it amusing that many GFY Christians don't know what the mainstream view of their own religion is.

Modern Creationism was forced to adopt a view that would explain the existence of Dinosaurs (after decades of denying the fossil evidence). How they came up with the idea that they rode the Ark is actually hilarious - poor Noah had to feed and shovel the shit of all those giant beasts...only to have God kill them all off shortly after the great flood had passed - Gawd definitely works in mysterious ways. :1orglaugh

Visitors view exhibits at the new Creation Museum where among other things dinosaurs sail on Noah's Ark.

You think because I rail against Conservatives that I'm a Democrat? Trust me I'm anything but.

Democrats are spying on all of us and killing innocent women and children with flying murder machines - I'm no Democrat. Obama is one huge fucking disappointment - but not for the Fox fabricated reasons all you righties love to regurgitate.

A lot of people running our country actually believe all this magical fairy tale bullshit.

They teach christianity in schools in the US? And others too? What's it called - "religious" education?

The Biblical story of Noah's Ark was complete theft from the Epic of Gilgamesh, mythic tales from the Sumerian civilization. There's zero evidence Noah existed, there is evidence King Gilgamesh did.

What's incredible about the Flood Story is that virtually ever ancient civilization discovered on this planet including the Native Americans have a very similar Flood Story/Myth. Our Native Americans had no idea that the Middle East existed and the people of the Middle East had no idea the continents of the Americas existed.

It's a complete mystery, it seems probable that there must have been a great flood that affected the entire world and the stories of it got passed down BUT the story narratives being so similar is unexplainable. It's been suggested that there must have been more travel by water than we have proof of and the ark story spread to these far flung civilizations by word of mouth.

nexcom28 11-09-2013 12:40 AM

T-Rex would have a field day on that ark. He and his lady friend would think all their Chrismas's had come at once..

Mutt 11-09-2013 12:46 AM

I was wrong, Gilgamesh was Babylonian - they got their flood story inspiration from the Sumerians.

Pretending to be religious was an integral aspect in the movie 'Contact'.

But anyone familiar with the movie knows the eventual fate of the guy who claimed to believe in god.

SuckOnThis 11-09-2013 08:28 AM

The story is retarded even without dinosaurs. Lets see, a man is able to trap and collect 30 million different animal species, including wild birds, bears (and polar bears even though he lived in a fucking desert), cheetahs, lions, 8000 different reptile species, etc, etc all without getting bit or eaten. Then there's all the food for these animals. If it were even possible to accomplish this feat he would need an ark the size of Florida.

Why it doesn't embarrass any grown adult to believe this nonsense is beyond me.

this issue is definitely not black and white

Would he have been elected if he was a white US Senator? Absolutely. His talents as a speaker and political strategist are undeniable.

Would he have made it to the US Senate if he wasnt black? Maybe not as he had a lot of black constituents that helped him along the way.

So you believe in the new testament but not the old? Classic.

First, a New Testament scholar?s view of creation matters because Genesis was important to the New Testament authors. Every New Testament author quotes or alludes to Genesis. The New Testament has a total of 60 allusions to Genesis 1?11 specifically, and when we widen the search to include all of Genesis, the number grows to 103. For such a tiny body of literature, the New Testament has a staggering amount of references back to Genesis (see the list below).

http://creation.com/genesis-new-testament

There are 3 main types of Christians:

1. Those with zero intellectual or scientific curiosity and blindly believe the fairy tales of the Old and New Testaments.

2. Those who know that Genesis can't possibly be interpreted literally but still cling to the faith for some reason or another. (these are people that will ultimately lose their faith but just haven't got there yet)

3. Those who know its ALL BULLSHIT but yet use the power of the church to gain money, influence, fame, pussy (more often boy ass) or other material gains.

No Bro. Would be a cool story but it never happened. Did you know that scientists can see evidence of a single prehistoric tsunami? There would be massive amounts of hard evidence if anything like the big flood ever went down. Here's the thing: Where ever you are...wait long enough...and there will be a massive flood. But back in the days before satellites and the weather channel any dude standing on the ground during a huge flood..to him it would seem like the whole world was water.

Plus its not even remotely possible even if there wasn't an ice cube on the planet:

Conversely, Obama would never have been elected if only white votes counted. :)

Oh wait, Obama won the majority of women voters and other minorities too. Definitely not a good sign for the GOP.

I think I just figured it out for the Republicans. If they keep appealing only to white males, which are a shrinking demographic, they are going to continue to lose national elections (well, unless, you can throw up enough roadblocks to voting).

You mean the Jews, right?

http://static2.fjcdn.com/thumbnails/...cb6d69607a.png

Yeah, I mean what was God thinking when he let the publishers roll out the flawed and contradictory/confusing early edition of the bible? :winkwink:

Good thing that God had all of those early Christians, a hundred or so years after his son was executed, crank out a correction to his earlier flawed testament, to set straight all of the previous believers in the christian god (that would be the Jews), about what god really meant to say.

Of course many christians, including those during the US civil war, still fought to defend slavery (using the bible as their justification).

https://sphotos-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/h...58077859_n.jpg

Seems like most self-proclaimed christians pick and choose what they want to believe anyway, or how they choose to interpret the bible/god's words/laws (among all of the conflicting things they are are told to believe), and that there really is a lot of disagreement between the various factions.

Tangent: Jesus was supposedly God's son, who was born from a virgin - not God's virgin wife, but the virgin wife of another man - always made me wonder why God didn't select an unmarried virgin if marriage is so sacred, and he insists that a man not covet another man's wife - I guess it's good to be God, since you get to make all the rules, but you don't have to follow them).

Heres the thing about people (like Baddog) who try to pick and choose what parts of the faith to believe or not to believe - it doesn't last. Ultimately you they are going to get curious and read some scientific literature, or some historical facts, or hear enough garbage from fellow Christians...or for one reason or another just wake the fuckup.

20 or 30 years ago I used to assume that Christians would come around to accepting the fact of evolution and adjusting the genesis story to be non-literal - like say each Genesis "Day" would equal 100 million years or something...but no..that would be too smart for the worlds dumbest fucks. They decided to go the opposite direction and put goddamn dinosaurs in the Ark.

Any Christian who believes in Science is just one conflicted motherfucker - you get into any serious conversation with a half-christian and you will quickly find out that they have no answer or explanation for the facets of the religion that they can not bring themselves to reconcile with. If you don't believe in Genesis then you are basically calling Jesus a liar - thats not nice.
