Petition to the Adult Industry to rasie the middle men Fee from 15-20% to 50%
 

Greetings friends and colleagues of the industry, we ask if you would consider participating in an online petition to raise the processing fees across the boards for middle men from 15% to 50% flat rate across the board.

What we have noticed is an industry filled with middle men, built by middle men, ran by middle men and many of us free loaders who are in this business trying to shave a few nickels from the hard work of the middle men need to dig deep and search our hearts and make things right for the middle men.

It is very hard for anyone to get by only making 15% especially when they are the reason we have an adult industry.

Middle men have labored and sacrificed so much for this industry and should all be driving to the high stress work environment of payment processing in their new mercedes benz and BMW's

We as an industry have prospered so much from the hard work of middle men that we forget that these guys are more intelligent than us, more resourcesful, better magicians and should be compensated much more than 15% of our earnings!

Please consider supporting this noble and worthy cause and let's chip in to help make life more comfortable for the innovative, brilliant, hard working, long suffering, magicians and masters of the ancient craft of middlemenry!

Come on good people, this is not about color or politics, its about right and wrong...and 15-20% in fees is an insult for hard working middle men to have to live on!

What is a "middle men"?

No matter where someone is making money doing hard work, there's always a leech there to make money from that money. That's how the financial industry works also.

If you had some ethics and respect for pseudo bankers you would do what you could to increase the fees of the middle men's who puts the monies into your pockets.

4 sales rebill average 2 times each at $30 each month is $131,400 each year.

Ok... carry on.

Um....no. 4 sales a day x 7 = 28 let's round up to 30 a week. 30 sales a week x $30 is $900. Let's roundup to $1000 for shits and giggles. That's $50,000 a year. A YEAR.

$1000 week x 4 = $4000 a month. If ALL rebill for 2 months (unlikely but let's say they do) that's (MAX) another $8000, for $12,000 total over 3 months or (if sales/rebills remain 'stable', meaning you acquire as many new members as you lose) $48,000 for the year.

For your numbers to work it would mean all 30 sales for the week/120 for the month would have to rebill the entire year.

You would have to be pulling in $2600+ a week to make that $131,400. 4 sales a day doesn't get you there. (And that's just gross revenue, too, profit is WAY lower). Am I wrong here? It's late.....:D

between every site and payment center, there is a "middle man" and since there are lots of these, they are called "middle men."

essentially every time someone puts in their credit card, one of these "men" is sent the credit card number in an email. they take the CC number and charge it on their home card swiper machine. since you can't swipe a card through the internet, you need to make up these cards on the fly, then run it through. after you do this, the money comes out of the ATM and you, as the middle man, take the cash and go to the bank to deposit for the company.

this is why we want the fee to be 50% because it is a lot of work to keep making these temporary cards, having to always check email and the price of gas alone for driving is insane!

my cousin used to be making $10-$15k a month easy, now can hardly make ends meet because these thieves companies don't want to pay for the transaction costs.

bigger sites like Amazon have these people on staff to do this full time, while smaller programs like many adult site, out source it to others.

back in late 90's they used to be called "fluffers" since most of them wore fluffy clothing made of real animal furs. in the 2000's up until about 2009 they were called "lot lizards" since they would have to sit and wait for banks to open in the parking lots.

then in 2009 an industry changing movie came out called "Middle Men" depicting exactly how this industry works. amazing the level of detail they put into the film, many were upset by that because it gave away the "secrets" that no one wanted to share, and that is why the adult industry is dead because this movie shows everyone how to make tube sites.

1 sale that averages 2 rebills @ $30/month = $90
4 sales per day then equals $90 x 4 = $360
365 days in a year X $360 = $131,400

Now, what the hidden message is... do they really convert 2 more months on average?? The answer is *****YES*****
... the problem is you are billing with middle men who also bill for people like 12clicks (who like to do ALOT of XSALES)... so you are then grouped into the same clan.

Have you ever read a ccbill approval email sent to a new customer? If not... read it.

The "middle men" as you call them built this industry. Content producers were the last to the boat because they are so old school they didn't understand the web. Now most of them are out of business.

I would like to propose that small content people who are come latelys pay 75% and that the rest of us that have been around making this industry for 10+ years pay 5%.

No I stil think you're wrong. $90 is over THREE MONTHS. 1 sale = $30. Then they rebill for TWO MONTHS for a total of $90 per customer, yes? But by month FOUR that customer is GONE. You are calculating that customer stays around for a whole year.

I'm sorry Beaner but four sales a day, even if every single sale rebills for two months, does NOT equal $131,400. If this were the case then every small mom and pop company making 4 sales a day would be earning over 100k a year. Sorry man, your numbers are totally wrong.

I'm afraid it's you that has the math wrong. His math is correct. And an average of three months is not uncalled for at all with a quality site.

Average value per sale: $90
Number of sales per day: 4
Projected value of daily sales: $360
Projected value of sales over one year: $131,400

This of course would be gross. Would need to figure in processing charges, affiliate commission, all other expenses, etc. But one site with four sales a day can absolutely gross $131,400 with projected value in a year, add in additional income streams from the site and you have a pretty fair living with a minimal amount of sales.

Fuck it. I have an idea lets nail those pesky hosts that have nothing to do with the industry as well.

If he was thinking the custumer was staying all year he would have to multiply by 12 as in ($30x12) By month 4 Customers of month 1 are gone but you are making rebills from the ones on month 2 and 3 and initial charges of the sales you make in the current month. In whichever month you are, exept the first 2 months. Let's assume you have been making 4 sales per day forever... on any given day you make 4 sales = $120 + 4 rebills from the same day last month = $120 + 4 rebills from 2 months ago = $120 = $360 per day or $131400/year

I agree if the sales and rebills are consistent but AGAIN this assuming EVERY SALE REBILLS 2 months. Now maybe he's ONLY offering rebills (and not single shots) but still I would find it hard to believe EVERY sale rebills for two months. But okay, on average perhaps.

Yes, averages. I see way better with mainstream yhen average 2 months. I also saw 2 months rebills with ccbill in 2009/2010.

I recommend never offering single sale unless for multiple months and comes close to your target average monthly member value (with the rebills).

I mentioned this earlier, read the email a customer gets after signing up with ccbill and ask yourself, does customer really need to know that they purchased for 24.95 to recur at 24.95 every 30 days until cancelled? The terms on the signup page already give them that information.
