well, currently.... since I'm so freaking jammed up here... (haven't slept in three days), active clients excluded, anyone new that wants to get on my list is gonna fork $3k or better per site.

more importantly is customer service, being able to talk to people, understanding what they are trying to explain when they don't even know, a little skillz, going the extra mile, and a few conversions.

If I had to rely only on my personality from GFY.... I'd be fucked. :glugglug

rep counts but that rep that some guys have is based on the ability to consistently put out top notch work, in different styles, on a deadline and the ability to deal with clients.

Honestly, If and when I do have some design work to be done, I wouldn't be sending it to you.

No offense, you're a good designer, seem like a decent guy, but... your ego is unbelievable on here...

Thats not what I like in someone I'm about to fork down some cash to. =) Receiving cash from? I can deal with a large ego.

That and the fact I know exactly what I want in a design, and I can get it for half the price and the same or better quality from atleast 3 studios I can count off the top of my head.

looks decent.... it's got some unfinished edges and some unsharpened images, loads a little slow (not drastic... just a little)... the contact & site map color schemes don't match the rest... the red on blue (for the text) is a little harsh...

but overall.... decent job there. Those notes I made are small things.

Saying that you wouldn't turn to Amp with your paysite design requests is irrational. Amp's work rocks, well worth every cent put into it. :thumbsup

trust me when I tell you... it has nothing to do with ego and everything to do with workload. If Hefner himself called me tomorrow, I'd have to put him on the waiting list or turn him down.

that's totally fair.... not everyone digs my style. Not everyone digs WebIncs style, or MikeW's style, or Sharky's style, etc... personal preference is definately a factor. Another factor is alot of larger companies prefer some variety in styling. Hence, a multitude of designers. Am I offended that I am but one of 30 designers for Company 'A'? Of course not.... that's ridiculous.

But to say you wouldn't send me business because of my ego? LOL..... that's just ignorant. I have no ego. TennisAce has a bigger ego than I ever had. And that's why I said, you clearly don;t know me very well if you honestly think that. :glugglug
