I am a gun nut but seriously, all you need for home defense is a shotgun. I would rather have my 9 rounds of 12 guage semi auto than a 30 round clip of .223 anyday. Gun show this weekend here, hope I can unload some guns and make a profit.

I bet your for red light camera's too.

I am former US Marine and I own an AR15. A lot of people are surprised that I support gun laws.

It's simple really. I grew up in a household out in the country where everyone hunted, and we had firearms in the house. During hunting season we went hunting, and outside of that we did target practice and shot clays. We didn't have firearms for home protection, and clearly we didn't need an assault rifle.

The only purpose of an assault rifle is to kill other people - in bulk. It's not something you should use for home protection. Why do I own an assault rifle? Well, I have the "be prepared for anything" mentality and if society breaks down I want to be ready. However, a handgun and a hunting rifle would do the trick just as well - I could live without an assault rifle.

There needs to be strict laws about firearms. This is just common sense. Why do I have to register my car but not my firearms? Take a look at the drivers out on the road and how fucking stupid they are - are you really okay with all of them being legally able to buy firearms?

Yes I am, because it's there right to do so. Gun laws only hurt law abiding citizens. Criminals will always find black market guns. If anything make gun crimes even more severe, how about you commit any crime with a gun, automatic life sentence. I have an AR-15, do I plan on using it to kill people with it?? NO. It's a great rifle to shoot at the gun range. Just because some CRIMINAL uses it in a wrong way I should be punished?? Ya that makes total sense. JESUS

I am a nobody and all I need to protect myself is my cruise missle. I have me a conceal and carry permit and I promise that if I see anyone doing anything wrong I will use my cruise missle on them.

Furthermore if more people had done the patriotic thing and purchased cruise missles we would not have problems with the United States gouvernement acting french.

In fact my cruise missle works so well for all my problems that Kim Dotcom himself wrote me a letter promising to never allow anyone to upload my dvds. (Which is why I suppose that everyone is talking about gun legislation on a porn professional forum. )

I think most sensible gun owners feel the same way. It's a select few who are against all gun regulations of any kind and go on campaigns about it.

I have a canceled permit and think it should be a lot stricter to own a gun think you should be made to go to some sort of school if you never shot a fire arm before etc..

If the Constitution trupmed my opinion then Congress would not pass a assault weapons ban next month, they did in 1994 and they will do it again in 2013. So tell Congress they have no clue what the 2nd Amendment is about.

Good question and I have thought a lot about this, legally I can sell to anyone but morally I would feel very uncomfortable selling to a criminal, so I will use my judgement and require a copy of ther DL and sign a bill of sale. That should be enough to scare off felons.
Guns I will be selling not even dealers have so I have no competition really, Ar15's with bump stocks installed, Calico 9mm pistol with a 100 round clip, things like that. Still thinking about keeping my Saiga 12's, I picked up cases of 10 round clips for them but I think when the ban comes the Saiga 12's might be on the you gotta turn in list.

How's an automattic weapon and limited ammo going to help you for any length of time if you go on a shootout with Uncle Sam's highly trained soldiers that have access to unlimited ammunitions of any kind, to lasers that make you puke or turn gay, and drones that fly 2k feet in air that can lob a bomb trough your bedroom window? Not to mention all the other secret gadgetry, armored truks and what not...

It's not about that, it's about having the means to defend yourself against any threat.

How did we get our asses kicked in Vietnam? We had more troops and better weapons so we should have had that cleaned up in no time despite having absolutely no reason for being there. Because we under estimated people truly fighting for their country.

Do those who feel the guns are for defense against thier government really think you're all going to unite into one and patriotically start shooting cops and soldiers if the government does something you don't like? Even if that movie-esque scenario were to happen, you'd get killed by unmanned drones and fighter jets before you got a single shot off.

Sometimes just having a weapon is enough to prevent having to use it. Take Nuclear Weapons for instance. No country ever wants to use them so why have them in the first place.
