Guns I will be selling not even dealers have so I have no competition really, Ar15's with bump stocks installed, Calico 9mm pistol with a 100 round clip, things like that. Still thinking about keeping my Saiga 12's, I picked up cases of 10 round clips for them but I think when the ban comes the Saiga 12's might be on the you gotta turn in list.

You are just trying to unload them before they are banned and you can not sell them.
If you are against people having them why sell them? If you are for stricter gun laws, but then you want to sell to someone with an ID card and a bill of sale only?

Home defense depends on what is going on outside. one or 2 bad guys, yep shotgun perfect. Riots as someone posted where 50+ could be running the street, Ill keep my AR-15 THANKS!

DUH, I wouldn't use the word "unload" though. I should get 3 times what I paid for them, if not I will keep them. I bought them as an investment.

LOL, you've watched one too many episodes of Walking Dead. So you can imagine a riot situation where 50 people are banging on your door and you need a AR15 to defend yourself? So mobs of 50 people or more go door to door? I cannot ever imagine a situation where I am on a street and 50 people are bearing down on me where I would need a AR15 to mow them down. Like I said, too many episodes of Walking Dead.

Maybe the foreseeable future, huh?

The possibility is always there, that's why the founding fathers said something along the lines of "The thing about the 2nd Amendment is it isn't to be used until someone tries to take it away."

I don't watch TV very much. and someone here already posted how they felt safe during some riots with an AR or similar.

I bet My pile of bodies would deter more than your pile! LOL

Yes I am, because it's there right to do so. Gun laws only hurt law abiding citizens. Criminals will always find black market guns. If anything make gun crimes even more severe, how about you commit any crime with a gun, automatic life sentence. I have an AR-15, do I plan on using it to kill people with it?? NO. It's a great rifle to shoot at the gun range. Just because some CRIMINAL uses it in a wrong way I should be punished?? Ya that makes total sense. JESUS

No.

In the case of the school shooting in CT, these were legally purchased firearms. If there was a law saying "If you have anyone in the house who has a history of mental illness you cannot legally own firearms" this would have been prevented. A simple law could have prevented the deaths of twenty school children.

haha, nope just shooting cans in the backyard. I found out the hard way that 7.62 richochets off the ground whereas .223 doesn't. I have several metal enclosed trailers then a 10 foot high hill behind them so I don't hit a neighbors house. Several 7.62 holes punched thru the trailers but no .223 holes.

They were legally purchased and registered to his mother Not him. He was in possession of them ILLEGALLY.

And no law needed...she SHOULD have had the damn sense to keep her weapons locked up.

No law would have changed what happened. She simply wouldn't have told anyone her son was mentally ill. She would have lied and gotten her gun anyway is what I think.

Laws don't stop anybody from doing what they want...and they certainly wouldn't have stopped this crazy person from doing what he did. He would have just stolen a gun from somebody else and/or found another way to kill. :(

I do agree that his mom not locking her weapons up made it very easy for him to do it.
But I can only assume that those weapons were around the house before this happened. She obviously never saw it coming or even thought for a minute he would hurt her or those children.

You just can't predict what a person who is that crazy will do...and history has shown that you can't even tell HOW crazy some people are (Jeffrey Dahmer for instance...he was described by everyone as a really nice guy, just like most mass murderers)

She should not have been allowed to have weapons period. This kid was checked every box for mental illness and was so fucked up he killed his own mother AND twenty kids. There is no way she should have been allowed to own firearms.

My friend I keep talking about is on so much medication that some times he doesn't know which way is up. A few months ago his family got a phone call from the local PD - He took too much of one medication or not enough of another kind of medication, went out, forgot where he was going, who he was, and where he lived. He is armed with an AR15 and multiple handguns. There is no legal mechanism to remove the firearms from him.

This is the problem - the weapons get into the the hands of the madmen and the mentally ill. We need to stop this.
