The computer hard drive that could have backed up Amanda and Rafael's alibi was mysteriously destroyed by the police/prosecution. They have the man in prison who had his dna found all over the crime scene.

She waited outside a shop for it to open to buy 2 bottles of bleach after the killing in the early hours of the morning. Co-incidence or does she just like to give the house a serious clean early in the morning?

Amanda and Rafael never purchased bleach, there are no receipts of them doing so and the store owner where they were alleged to have bought it from, admitted they never came in the store. This was something made up by one media outlet and it got spread around by gullible people like you. Nothing was ever presented in trial with respect to this.

WRONG !! She was never found "not guilty" she was found "GUILTY" but on appeal the verdict was overturned BECAUSE the way the Italian police collected forensic evidence "COULD" (and note the word COULD not DID) have led to cross contamination of DNA.
All I would say is if somebody is murdered at the place you live and one day you say you sat in another room with your hands over your ears listening to your boss kill your friend and later change your story and say you were never there at all.....?!?!?

She wasn't freed because of possible cross contamination, but rather because none of the dna/physical evidence linked Amanda to the crime scene after an independent group reviewed all of the evidence. Also, they were able to eventually link all of the physical evidence to Rudy Guede who was convicted and is now serving 16 years for the murder. At that point, any other judicial system would have freed her and admitted a mistake. Instead you have a prosecutor who didn't want to be embarrassed and tried to save face by continuing to prosecute her on zero hard evidence. Her pointing the finger at Patrick initially was at the end of 14 hours of interrogation with no attorney and she was told she would never be able to leave unless she pointed the finger at someone.

on a sole basis of destroyed evidence and failure to secure a time of death, it's crazy they even managed to find the person actually guilty

You need to reacquaint yourself with the case, she and Rafael claimed she was never at her place during the time of the murder, but rather they were watching a movie on his laptop at his place. The hard drive to his laptop was mysteriously destroyed by the prosecution/police, which could have at least corroborated their story. The 14 hours of interrogation by police with no attorney present was documented by the police, did you want me to get the police report to prove it to you?

i can tell you several different reasons why the investigation and and evidence was fubar by reading one rather long article.

No, that's your opinion, the lastest poll in Perugia/Florence now has over 80% feeling she was wrongly initially convicted and is innocent, a complete turnaround from before the physical evidence results were released by the independent study.
