its because content provider think like owners and not users. They want to use all there fancy equipment when all that is need is a few everyday models and give them an iphone or canon powershot. sit back and tell the to snap a few pictures if themselves of send them home and tell them to pose in front of there web cam.

you are right in many cases, we also had to learn that less equipment and less skills make more authentic content.

we have now someone "shoot" exGf content for us who has never worked as photographer before and we gave him just amateur equipment

but the problem is also the pricing. for some reason the prices for this type of content were extremely low right from the beginning. so paying couples for hardcore amateur content is for us simply too risky. it seems to work only for those who also run their own sites and make real money with this
