I Have Some VERY Pissed Off Gambling Friends

My one buddy lost $1300 to Fulltiltpoker and he is pissed (as he's a Canadian). I can't imagine how many other people had money in their accounts and are frantically now trying to withdraw the funds. Who knows if they will ever see a dime of their money :(

Additionally I wonder who is going to pick up the majority of this business now since the top 3 have been essentially sunk?

Agent 488 04-15-2011 02:38 PM

see sig, nog.

webair 04-15-2011 02:48 PM

unfortunately, a lot of people are going to be losing a lot of money due to this..

LeRoy 04-15-2011 03:05 PM

96ukssob 04-15-2011 03:09 PM

The message boards full of pros are not happy right now. There are tons of other places to play, so I'm curious which ones will get the bulk of the migration and if they will be able to handle US customers properly.

Australian's can't it seems, I would think this affects everybody.

SomeCreep 04-15-2011 09:59 PM

Sports betting and online gambling in non-gambling states in any form, is prohibited in the US. I think most people already know this.

Nice of the US to be telling the rest of the world what to do though, one of those sites was incorporated and running largely offshore.

candyflip 04-15-2011 10:28 PM

They just played a FullTilt commercial on the TV a minute ago.

Jack Sparrow 04-16-2011 04:05 AM

Theres a difference between gambling and playing poker.
Ive got a large stack in there, i dont intend to give that to the us government so they can go buy some missles.
