Im offering fully CSS based galleries... movie or picture... flash or standard...

CSS is the new cool kid code. If you dont know the advantages of your galleries being CSS based and if youre not already utilizing these methods, hit me up and ill explain why you should be using CSS in all of your designs.

No tables people... pure efficiency !!!

I got the goodz... who wants them?

Galleries are not my limit. Hit me up to discuss CSS based tours as well!

The possibilities are near endless with CSS. Add some php and youre talking gold!!!

actually most of the newer version is...

http://www.lumpyimages.com/newport

i do need to add my latest works again... or just make another new portfolio all over...

Deej 01-28-2008 06:19 PM

for the record... i dont acknowledge IE6 for my own goods.... and you shouldnt either...

but i hold a soft spot with my clients and their needs...

IE6 can eat a bowl of shit... IE6 is the stubborn older brother getting a clue...

and thats that...

DirtyProfits 01-28-2008 06:25 PM

How long did it take you to learn css? Did you study or teach everything yourself?

SayWhut 01-28-2008 06:25 PM

Yep. Agree with you. IE6 is a pile of shit, but a majority of the web still uses it and you have to cater for these poor souls using unethical internet browsers.

LOOPNAME Se Vende! 01-28-2008 06:26 PM

Nice work my Lumpy

both... mostly self taught, but whats not when you work online :)

CSS is much more simple than some people portray... its just math...

I wouldn't even call it 'math' it is very limited 'math', looool, at most just adding or subtracting pixel amounts. It is just about memorizing all of the different properties that CSS has, and how they affect different elements on a page.

IE6 sucks, but definitely does need to be accounted for still...

And your 'css design' is nearly all images... :S

Yup ... more on logic rather than maths... positioning things where they should be.

I don't see why people still continue to use tables for layout purposes other than tabular data.

I still would use tables on FHGs as it makes it more stable, of course, you can use CSS ... depends on what sort of properties you assign and your html coding.

this is my point exactly about css, its not at all as hard as some portray...

thanks for trying to down my goods though (seems like it) :upsidedow appreciate that...

P.CUBENSIS=D 01-28-2008 07:34 PM

Actually I liked some of your designs, wasn't downing anything.. =)

Just saying that your 'folio site is just pretty much one big image, lol.

ok well my initial thought was that you were contradicting my statements...

and if you look closer... its much more than one image... its many many images... but my image point was that each page ONLY has the galleries and banners in the html portion... the css IS in the head... but... as another css writing webmaster, i think you know what i mean... a spider dosnt see those images...

and thats what CSS is keen on.... making spiders more comfortable...

P.CUBENSIS=D 01-28-2008 07:39 PM

Sry about that, good job none the less :thumbsup

i just hate images, lol

ie6 sucks real bad.
But it is used still and alot its a bitch when it comes to coding, really tempermental.

Everyone should be forced to upgrade to ie7

firefox is still safer... better blocking and no unwanted hidden scripts

Deej 01-29-2008 01:59 AM

:1orglaugh That's got to be today's joke!

IE7 is still a buggy piece of shit with more errors and security holes in than a tramp eating swiss cheese before he goes to take a dump in your hotel's foyer!

Firefox, on the other hand, actually shows the markup as it should be; whereas IE7 has a whole host of fun new features like:
  • Putting a whitespace between your LI elements, just for fun
  • Ignoring the wildcard CSS rule when it feels like it
  • Ignorning a parent element's absolute positioning at whim
  • And many more!

Order today and you'll also get Windows Defender - we like to think of it as putting Garry Coleman as lead role in Gladiator...

What kind of shitty designer are you to not take this fact into consideration?

Fuck, you are stupid.
