I recently attended a meeting where I tried to reassure people that it is real. I got a little choked up but I think I got my message across.

What are the chairs made of when the wrestlers get slammed in the head with them?

I still remember Andre the giant.

Metaman,
WWF is so fake its not funny. EVERYTHING is scripted. EVERY camera angle has been worked out in advance. EVERY DVE move is worked out. EVERYTHING!. Have you noticed they never show closeups of the 'wrestlers' getting hit?. Have you noticed when someone gets hit, its your classic 'i just got hit' acting school move?.

The posting that goes into WWE is very time consuming. Thats why it looks real. They have some of the best editors in the industry working their. Their production suites are worth over a million bucks each. Their post house runs 24/7. They use toys in post that you cant begin to imagine. Top of the line equipment all through the place. And having over 50 Digital Beta decks in their tape room ensures that they can make multiple pass's with no degregation in quality.

Do you want to know how I know this? Stan (my future husband) worked at WWF/WWE in their post house for a few years. He has seen every trick they use. They are located in Stamford, CT. About 2 miles from home.

Sorry dude, its all fake and scripted. Why do you think the company that owns WWF is called WWE?. They 'E' is for entertainment.

Sorry to break you the news. Its fake. This info comes from someone who worked at WWF/WWE.

SuzzyQ 01-17-2008 08:56 PM

Metaman,
You can add me to the $10k. Im in for this bet. It will make a very nice wedding present.

But the pain is very real. No amount of planning will diminish the hurt from a steel chair to the head or the landing on concrete from 15 feet up.

They may be some of the best stunt men around, but the shit still hurts.

No shit? What shows did you promote? Do you still have any involvement in the industry?

I did some promotional work for the original ECW and promoted a few local shows in the Midwest. I also acted as an agent for quite a few of the former ECW guys when the promotion went belly up. Those were some great memories...

Those are just standard off-the-shelf folding chairs. Just like the tables they go through are real and unaltered (it breaks the fall and doesn't hurt at all....even I was put through a couple)

We happen to own the largest Indy Wrestling company in Canada, that is well known to all Indy wrestling fans. We are a extreme hard-core Fed, similar to the old ECW. Much better than that boring old WWE ;)

My husband knows Vince better. He worked for Vince for over 3 years.

Vince will do whatever it takes to protect his multi million dollar a year empire.

I saw the posting myself. I saw all the raw tapes. I have seen the scripts. I have even had to go to the remotes. I have seen the process from planning to it being fed to the uplink.

Also, we were required to sign papers stating that we will not disclose any info what so ever about the WWE. Including the production and posting.

Vince is protecting his empire. And, yes, I have met Vince more than once since he use to sign my paychecks.

Stan

Vince knows me better and likes me better, he said your husband has dolphin breath and a small penis.

You are just caught up in the conspiracy against wresting, these athletes are real and everything is real.

I dont listen to conspiracies and that is why i am gonna take home a cool $10k.

Redmanthatcould 01-17-2008 10:19 PM

Let me see if I got this right. In 1 of the shows, Vince quits working for WWE.Then they show him (all bummed out), walking out of the arena. Then they show him getting into his Limo. All the sudden, the limo blows up, with Vince in it.

A short time later, Vince is back on camera alive. As if he never blew up in the limo.

That is freakin amazing!. Vince has more powers than god. He can blow up in a car bombing and appear on tv a few weeks later without and scars from the explosion!.

WOW! Vince has more powers than god.

When can we expect to see our $10K?
