For the most part yes...but using dreamweaver I get lazy and forget some basic stuff all the time.

Now I'm going to sit back and wait for the responses from others...because I'm sure my posting an answer to your question will somehow prove I'm stalking Zoe.

there is always more for me to explore with all code structuring, but i am getting more knowledgable as I go.

I've been using HomeSite for as long as I can remember - I've never, ever touched DreamWeaver or any other program like it. I like clean code, by hand, and the Snippets helps preserve for future use.

The original Homesite had nothing to do with Dreamweaver and is a handcoding tool. No WYSIWIG. The original Homesite does count!

I write it all by hand using html kit

I understand html and know some....but I use frontpage and edit the shit code out afterwards....that's the easiest way for me....

i know html very well but i still use dreamweaver just to speed up the process.

Haven't done it much recently though so I guess I'm out of date.

ok, i use this handy little html tool, but it does nothing in the way of build it for you bar the basics. i just like the use-ability for use of a better term. It has a built in browser (esko) and assists in correcting where a syntax error can be amended. It is called easyHTML by some guy/girl called ToniArts.

Write it all, as well as CSS and PHP by hand... if it doesn't verify as html and css w3c valid, then it's not good enough.

Really? And does it work for you? Usually Dreamweaver stuff can not be edited manually because its such a horrible code that if you touch it you usually break it.

It's ridiculous to build a website all by the code. I use DW to build everything, then edit the code just how I like it. It takes 5 minutes to do what it take 3h to code!

When we started the site ,she built the sites. I did the photography and video, I want to learn something ever happens to her I dont know how to update or anything not good.

as they're two totally different things.

I only use notepad. I learned by looking at source codes and playing around with the tables. I was going to give Dreamweaver a shot a while back but gave up on the idea. Seemed like a waste of time to learn a new program that does what I already know how to do...
